        If we will construct a long dike to avoid flooding along the Geum river at Moon Pyong Ri in Choongnam province and have this idle, large, wet land, be banked, we would have an important interior industrial district which would bring us a great deal of wealth. Before manufacturing an industrial site, the authors have annually whether this is suitable for development planning with reviews of weather, geology, eco-nomics and hydraulics in this paper.

        最適値計算에 아주 要緊한 手法인 Linear Programming (LP)은 콤퓨터의 등장으로 그 應用의 現實性이 더욱 높아지고 있다. 더욱이 現實에 順應하기보다 오히려 改革하려는 規範計劃論(Normative Planning) 에서 LP의 靜的 모델로서의 動的 現實과의 갈등은 意識的으로 容納되는 것이다. 土地利用이나 開發과 같이 變化過程이 비교적 느리거나 地域的 그리고 非連續的 現況에서의 意志的(施策的, 投機的) 修正과 基準(目標) 設定의 不可避性 내지 當爲性은 LP의 靜的 妥當性이 期待된다. 본 硏究는 假想的 土地利用 配分問題를 만들어보고 또 이것을 LP콤퓨터 푸로그람으로 풀어 보므로 LP와 土地 利用計劃의 內容上 類似点과 이로 만미암는 應用價値 및 可能性을 示唆하고 있다.

      • A Study on the Sand Drain by a Bailer Installation

        Sand drin의 目的은 透水柱를 軟弱地盤에 埋入設置하여 壓密沈下를 人工的으로 促進시키는 工法으로서 1934年 Califonia에서 最初로 施工되었다. 그 이후 이 工法의 施工, 硏究가 各國에서 活潑히 進行되었으며 施工方法에 따라 效果는 큰 差異를 가져왔다. 本 工法은 在來의 壓縮空氣式 Casing工法, Rotary Boring 工法等에 있어서 Casing 注入時 Casing 周邊의 흙을 攪亂시켜 엷은 不透水層을 形成하는 缺点을 克服시키기 爲해 Netherlands I·F·G가 開發한 特殊 Bailer의 適用 效果를 硏究分析하였다. 이 工法은 모든 土層에 施工이 容易하고 施工 깊이도 35m까지 可能하였으며 Casing 注入 및 除去에 必要한 工期를 短縮할 수 있고 Casing 없이도 施工할 수 있는 經濟的 側面에서 볼 때 實際適用의 妥當性은 매우 優秀한 것으로 推論할 수 있겠다.

        This report has been prepared for the draft of the master plan of the Dae-Cheung Lake sightseeing and recreation area after the completion of the Dae-Cheung multipurpose dam in 1982. The contents of the protect are summarized as follows: -purpose, scope, and policy, -survey of the present conditions in the Dae-Cheung dam and lake area. -predication of the recreation demand, -selection of the recreation sites, -future land use and zoning, -recreation types and scale of the facilities, -movement of the vehicles, boats, and pedestrians, -draft of the master plan and the schematic design.

      • 忠南地方 農村住宅의 實態와 試案에 關한 硏究

        The farm house of Chungnam province is 304,647 which is 62.2% of 489.636 in total houses. The Chungnam province is far different from other province for the climatic condition, family member and farming management. One sample village was selected from each Kun out of total 15 Kuns, and following data were found through direct interview and questionaire method with farmers. 1. 70% of total farm houses was built of wood, and of which 70% was built 20~50 years ago. 2. The average of farm family size is 5.8 persons, and farming land per house is as follows : 3. 200 Pyongs for the remote farming area. 1,500 Pyongs for the farming and fishery area and 1,700 Pyongs near the urban area. On the above basic data, the experimental plan is presented as follows. 1. Wall construction is to be built by the hollow style. 2. It is available to use simple roof truss. 3. It is proposed to plan the flexible extention in the future. 4. It is built by self-help basis. In addition, it is necessary to study on the new construction material, trial of using sundried brick, heating fuel and kitchen improvement in the rural housing as much as possible.

      • 韓國産 黑鉛의 X-線에 依한 構造分析과 成形에 關한 硏究

        The domestic graphite was refined by alkaline leaching method, and then the purity of carbon in graphite was increased to 99.96% by multiple leaching. The boron content of the refined graphite was decreased to 1.2 ppm from 2.7 ppm by chlorine treatment at low temperature. The refine graphite showed its peaks (201), (202) and (203) were not so clear at prisma-plane in x-ray analysis ; and it also was showed a poor recrystalization since the peaks (102) and (004), (112) and (006) were overlapped. As a result of structure parameter analysis, the graphite had been 1.37% of deviaiton with comparing the standard value of ceylon graphite in mean lattice distance. The average size of crystal was found to be considerably small, about 150Å, while the lattice displacement was measured to be 0.24%. The graphite with the above mentioned deviation could be made a quasi-single crystal structure by the hot press method. Thus, the lattice displacement was decreased about to 0.01% and the size of crystal was increased to 700-800Å. Besides, it was found that the hot pressed graphite had a useful mechanical strength enough to show about four times as much coefficiency of thermal shock resistance as the artificial graphite when both were compared at high temperature of 1100℃. It was supposed that a hot press device, improved so that the graphite may be pressed stronger, will make the mechanical strength much more useful.

        It has been known that todays concrete has serious bad points such as its weakness of tensile stress and its locals. Therefore, the above stated conditions, the concrete is Reinforced by putting bars into concrete. However, there still exists no method to deal with the local cracks of the concrete under the bending stress. Therefore, the author attempted to prevent its cracks with a changed method. Initially, in this paper, are described the compressive strength of concrete that is prepared in a normal manner (cement, sand, gravel, water, with wire pieces added).

      • 快感을 주는 透視圖의 客觀的 考察

        This research tries to formulate a criterion for better perspective drawing by surveying the distribution and variation of perceptual preference among the different groups. For the systematic analysis of the preference test the various perspective drawings are aggregated into three formats based upon the distance, height and direction of the station point. For easy comparison and realistic understanding a general house is adopted as a sample object of the perspective drawing. As expected some variation of preference among the different groups and within the same group are observed, but the variations are not so high that it may be possible to expect some possibility of man's perceptual consensus on better perspectives.

      • 圓孤齒形 齒車의 물림機構가 Pumping에 미치는 影響

        This study was theorized about the gearing mechanism of pump gears which have circular arc tooth profile. The results obtained are as follows. 1. In all of gearing positions, the minimum clearance of backlash was stood on the tooth trace. 2. When gears were in motion, the position of maximum cleanae of back-lash was positioned periodically on 1/4 or 2/1 of diametral pitch. 3. In the case of about 0.02mm allowable tolerance on gear tooth profile, the leakage of gearing could be prevented by the effectual selection of R and r. 4. Extreme wear position was located on the line of pitch surface. 5. It was unfit tooth profile for the height speed pump.

      • 精紡室의 溫濕度와 絲强度 및 絲切과의 相關性에 關한 硏究

        This study was carried out to investigate the influence of ambient temperature and RH on spinning and their effects on the properties of cotton yarns and spinning efficiency. The spinning covered four temperature levels ranging from 21℃ to 33℃ and seven RH levels from 34% to 76%. For spinning room temperatures bellow 26℃ 41% to 48% RH is found to give the minimum end breaks, but for higher levels of temperature (29℃-33℃), higher levels of RH (62%-76%) are required to give low end breaks. Maximum lea strength in the spinning room are obtained when yarns are spun at the high levels of 69% to 76% RH and low levels of 21℃ ; under standard laboratory conditions maximum strength is show by yarns spun at the high levels of 69% RH and 29℃ to 33℃. Under standard laboratory conditions maximum yarn elongation is obtained with yarns spun at the low level of 21℃ to 25℃ and 34% to 48% RH. Yarn irregularity is minimum at 25℃ to 29℃ and 62% to 69% RH in the spinning room.
