      • 대중 연주상의 장애요인에 관한 조사결과[Ⅰ]

        蘇美姬 서원대학교 예술문화연구소 1994 예술문화논총 Vol.3 No.-

        서울시내 소재 예원예술중학교, 선화예술중학교, 선화예술고등학교 및 서울예술고등학교 학생 387명을 대상으로 대중 연주상 장애요인에 관해 설문조사를 시행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 음악을 시작하게 영향을 준 사람은 부모님이 가장 많았다(52.7%). 2. 하루 연습시간은 1-2시간이 가장 많았다(53.7%). 3. 일주일 연습시간은 10-20시간이 가장 많았다(47.3%). 4. 렛슨 횟수는 일주일에 1회가 가장 많았다(58.7%). 5. 무대 오르기 직전이 제일 심하게 떨린다(73.9%). 6. 떨리는 기분에 대처하기 위해서 연습을 한다(40.2%). 7. 심리적 장애요인이 중·고등학교 모두에서 첫번째로 느꼈다(52.5%). 8. 중학생의 경우 고등학생보다 연습보다 무대에서 더 잘하는 것을 느끼고 징크스를 덜 인식하여 심리적 장애를 덜 느끼는 경향을 보여준다. 9. 고등학교 학생의 경우 반주자와의 위치가 적절하지 못해 생기는 장애나 연주회장의 음향조건이 나쁨으로 인한 장애를 더 많이 느끼고 있다. 10. 악기 연주를 늦게 시작한 사람은 연주시 내용을 의식하는 정도가 낮으며, 다른생각으로 방해받는 정도도 낮다. 11. 악기 연주를 일찍 시작할 수록 악기 자체에 의한 장애를 더 민감하게 느낀다. 12. 악기 연주를 늦게 시작한 사람일수록 연주시 청중을 응시하는 정도가 커진다. 13. 실제 무대 연주횟수가 많을수록 연주시 내용을 더 의식하고, 연습보다 무대에서 더 잘한다고 느끼고 있다. 14. 나이가 많을수록 연주직전에 음식을 먹고, 커피나 차가 도움이 됐다고 느낀다. 15. 나이가 많을수록 연습보다 무대에서 더 잘한다고 느끼는 정도가 낮고, 연주할때 징크스를 인식하는 정도가 높다.

      • 치재 CASE 디자인 개발에 關한 硏究

        Today, an image of a company is recognized in total by how positive the visual images and behavioral images of the company are. Consumers first judge the image of a company with the visual images, and then the behavioral images. Therefore, the visual images are often used as means of marketing themes for its strong effects. However, it is not a simple task to upgrade the image of small and medium-sized companies by adopting a C.I.(Corporate Identity) in order to deliver the visual images. Therefore, it would be proper to decide the priorities in terms of size, manpower and capital first and then to change the images step by step for Mata Dental Co., the subject of this study. First task was to change the previous brand mark to a modern logo in order to fit the company ideology, business teriitory and the position of the company in the market. Also a new logo was suggested for E.Q. Dental, the overseas sales branch company, in order to improve the company image and to promote the recognition. These newly developed logo was then applied to their previous product line-up, such as gutta percha points case(5 types), absorbent paper points(3 types), and new length marked gutta percha points case and line tape. This study was conducted to co-ordinate the designs of the dental equipment cases in order to give more systematic and innovative solutions compared to the competitors, resulting in superior quality, distinguished and better productivity. Furthermore, this will also create new market and elevate the profitability.

      • 춤에 나타난 動物의 模倣과 象徵性

        The main function of symbolism aims to make communication easy. In any ceremony, symbolism, as a minimum language, distributes and reorganizes thoughts. Symbolism is a report of meaning for communication and is also a product of culture. For, it implicates various forms and number of meanings in a given symbol through materialistic visualization of immaterial and spiritual realities, To become an effective communicational mean, therefore, a symbol should be able to communicate people with the same identified content and without confusion. The reason is because there comes misleading or difficulty in communication where excessive alterations are found in symbolic interpretation. The symbolism of animal immitation including crane dance, lion dance and butterfly dance which were dealt with in thi-s study could be summarized as follows: The reason why the crane dance with a medium of the crane has got its position as a royal court dance may be originated from its artistic sense and consciousness for the expression of the unique attributes and symbolic nature peculiar to the crane. Since the care dance is what showes something by means of the artificially made crane mask, it can be called near to the mark dance. The crane is essentially a bird specy with white feathers. The crane masks used at the royal court dance, however' are those with whits' blue and yellow colors. This implicates that the symbolic nature of folk colors is suggested together with the attribute of the crane. In such a manner that we believe in the lion as the king of beasts, the prime object of the lion dance is to deify it. Taking a kind of amusement character as a road show' this dance is performed to get rid of evils and to pray the well-being of the country. This dance embodies a general symbol of the lion' that is' a role of protection of the good against evil influences' and the prosperity of the community. Though the dances within the Buddistic ceremony are perfor-med in order to nemoralize the virtue of Buddha, the aims and functions change according to the species of dance. As a dance performed linked in the chain of Buddistic law, the butterfly dance has an aim to educate living things in the teachings of Buddha and to deliver them beside Buddha, and, therefore, it has a characteristic as a dance for the ceremonies of a revealed religion taking a form of 'confession by religious experience.' The butterfly dance which is a law-making dance is a religious dance taking a culturing method to beget a spiritual experience of faith by monks themselves. So, the purpose of this dance may he seen lying in culturing the Buddistic Law. The performance crafts of the dance include formal, esthetical and amusive perspecitives, and therefore, it can be viewed having all the true, the good and the beautiful of a dance. There are seen many existing dances immitated animals other than the above descripted three kinds of dances, and there may enough values to investigate into details of the symbolic nature appeared on the respective dances. In the future, it is expected that there should follow supplemental studies and the more extensive investigations.

      • 美國 舞踊 敎育에 對한 硏究 : 18C-19C 中心으로 around eighteenth to nineteenth century

        In eighteenth century U.S., theater with public stage emerged and even public performance was presented in courtroom. Dancing, however, was against the law, and the prohibition had gotten worse with conservative minister and intelligent group proscribing. Due to many people who want to learn dancing, dancing schools were established and especially in private school non-relative to religion, and dancing itself was adopted as an irregular class. During the progress, especially in late eighteenth century, French aristocratic dancers were induced and their internal social dance was spread out to the rich throughout the nation, accordingly dancing had become an important part in education. There is a record which shows University students' petition for dancing and fencing education though high level education prohibited dancing, affected by religious group. As a result, dancing and dancing school became a part of society in late eighteenth century. In nineteenth century U.S., dancing had been developed with the assistance of private study institute, development center, women's University as well as elementary and junior schools' quantitative increase for dancing class. Moreover, authoritative education theory regarding European education was developed in U.S. Dancing has been shown up in elementary school for about 25 yrs. in early nineteenth century, and was used as a means to manner, etiquette, and social reconciliation, Around mid-nineteenth century, dancing education became important by the reason that it is a helpful device for health, as a result, its study became remarkable phenomenon relatively in private institute. Dancing became a regular subject for gymnastics without theory in between civil war and the end of nineteenth century, and was authorized in public in late nineteenth centrry. In early twentieth century, American dancing education has approved three lineage such as athletic dance, gymnastic dance, and folk dance. Currently, American dancing education in University has been developed, accelerated by dancing dividend which are organized throughout the nation. This American education has been proliferated upto world widely with its relative theories. The study for continuing education for dancing, however, is not mature enough, so should be continued vividly.

      • 제품의 조작에 있어서 신체의 움직임과 인지에 대한 기본적 고찰

        形態의 認知에 관한 硏究에서 보다 單純한 形態가 복잡한 形態보다 認知하기 쉽다고 한다. 그러나 製品의 機能을 理解하는 경우에는 單純한 型態보다 特徵을 지닌 形態가 인지하기 쉽다는 가설을 본 연구에서 考察하였다. 이러한 가정을 검토하기 위해서 어린이가 레고브록을 조립하는 과정을 觀察調査하였다. 브록을 組立하기 위해 피험자가 조작하는 브록의 순서와 조작의 頻度는 브록조립의 과정을 이해하는 내용이라고 판단하였다. 피험자의 조립과정을 메뉴얼과 비교 분석한 결과, 브록의 형태, 색, 크기 등의 요소에 의해서 유발되어지는 신체의 움직임이 브록 조립의 이해에 영향을 미치고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 관찰한 결과는 2가지로 분류 할 수 있다. 1. 브록 조립에 있어서 신체의 움직임이 유도하는 내용은 다음과 두가지이다. (1) 브록조립의 경험적 이해 (2) 브록과 브록간의 因果관계 2. 단순한 형태보다는 특징을 가지는 형태에 많은 탐색행동을 보이는 것으로 보아 브록의 형태에 의한 誘發되는 산체의 움직임은 브록의 조립을 이해하는데 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악된다. This study that the motion of the body affects the cognition, based on the observation of the childrens play with the Lego-blocks. The previous theories on the cognition of the forms says that the simpler is the easier to be understood. However, it is proved in this paper that the distintive forms are easier to be recognized than simpler form, in the case of understanding the products functions. Users can operate the function of the products, because the motion of the body is to be motivated ecologically by the characteristics of the products. The results of the experiments are followings: 1. the motion of the body is motivated to the form of the object that classified into the following categories of the factors. (1) The experienced understanding of the methods to assemble the blocks. (2) The connection of the blocks in order. 2. The childrens exporation of behavior tends to systemize a series of the aimless motions of the body for the understanding of the process. 3. It is observed that the children move the distinctive blocks more then the simpler ones. Therefore, it can be insisted that the distinctive forms are recognized easier then the simpler ones.

      • 新製品 開發에 미치는 産業디자인의 役割에 關한 硏究

        As the world gets into fierce competition in new product development, Industrial Design takes more and more importance in the development work in order to improve the added value of the new product. It can also be reasoned from the world-wide phenomenon of generalization and regional equalization of technical level, in which technical superiority itself can no more mean a superior position in the product competition in the market. Necessarily, certain other factors than price and mechanical quality have been required in oreder to keep an edge in the new product competition. Recently, a comprehensive recognition of Industrial Design as such a factor that can cover the new necessity has been widely spreaded. A design, which means a creation of more convenient, economical and beautiful product is being called "A New Corporate Weapon" or "A Silent Salesman". Hence, it becomes necessary to call the Industrial Design which performs a key role in new product development and to understand its importance with a strategical view of corporate management. In such a point of view, we can classify the functions of Industrial Design as follows: First, in general process of new product development, from selection of idea, business analysis, and upto physical engineering and development stage, Industrial Design should participate from the planning process which is the begining stage of the new product development process. Second, Industrial Design draws a concept for the new product and creates not only an esthetic appreciation but a most convenient means as well which can achieve a best interface between the product and user. Also, it facilitates communication among the specialists who are participating in the new product development work. The factors of manufacturing process, storing and handling, and sales of the product are considered in the designing process to add up even better competitiveness of the new product. Third, Industrial Design provides highly specialized service by creating a concept of new product and product system to optimize the functions, value, and physical performance of the product and to best compromise the interests of the manufacturer and consumer. It also takes an important role of creation and improvement of outline and detailed shape of the product. Forth, Industrial Design can minimize the possible loss risk in the course of development process by providing an actual shape and expression of the newly developed product, and a chance of evaluation of the design and product itself through a "mock-up" to various specialists who are related to the development work. This is a very important process because the resultant product which developed through a huge financial and manpower investment, could result in a great loss to the product manufacturer if the product does not fit to the market requirement. Fifth, through design planning process, a wide range of diversification and classification of a product could be achieved. Wider range of diversification and classification of product will give more choice to the consumers and has better chance to satisfy the consumer's demands and diversify the market. In fact, it really improves and creates a new demand in the already fully supplied market. Sixth, Industrial Design can also update an old fashioned product into a new image or a variety of shapes and paterns at a least cost through a series of cosmetic or minor change work. It may greatly contribute to maximization of operation profit of the manufacturer, as the consumers will find a new image at the processed old product and are led to a new desire of purchase.

      • 現代 人體彫刻의 造形的 特性 硏究 : 20세기의 人體造刻을 중심으로

        The form of human sculpture reflects on the timely figure of human beings. As for the Human sculpture in the past, God and heros used to be expressed through figures of men and the symbols of fecundity and love used to be expressed through the figures of women. Human was regarded as an 「ideal of beauty」, and the sculptors would have tried to achieve the perfect formative beauty. Due to this fact, the proportion of the typical beauty of Greece has been realized and the figures of human being of humanism in Renaissance period were completed. The human sculpture of realism, which reallzed the perfect expression of human figure, used to be an aim of the ancient human sculpture and , at the same time, the starting point of contemporary human sculpture. The scientific analysis on space and the formative study on the shapes have produced new way of expression. Conceptional space has been reinterpreted as a structural space, and the human has been researched as a deformative study. At the turning point of Rodin, the human sculpture has gone through the development course of new expression, and the expressing form has been expanded in 20th Century. The traditional materials, used to make human sculpture, was restricted in the range of stone, wood, bronze, etc. but it have expanded its boundary toward resin, plastic, stainless, steel, etc. And the welding sculpture of human shape using metal plates has been realized by the Invention of welding techniques and the spread of steel plates, copper plates, and aluminum plates. After the World War Ⅱ the trend of the sculptures has been expressed in various types of experiments. And the concepts of 「ready made」of Marcel Duchamp and of pop art and avangard's experimental trend have been spreaded to the objects of ordinary utensils and trash. By linking to the incident and atmosphere of the sculpture of human by direct-life casting, environment sculptures and happening's experimental expression form is being expanded further. Either the study on video art or Kinetic art, cybernetics, etc. which are now being progressed shall offer the vitality for the future sculpture. In order to create the new image of the human sculptures, contemporary sculptors need to work on intensification of aesthetic way of thinking and through it, certified Hypothesis should be derived. The expressing style of the human sculptures in the past is not the object of abolishment and should not be regarded as the old logics. It is the very Mother's body of contemporary human sculpture and history, and is the birth place of lesson and the resource of inspiration. Contemporary sculptors should look for the new clue from the suggestion of traditional sculptures. The creational intuition for the space and experimental spirit are required for them to do that. Above all, the spiritual needs are the admiration to human being as a creature, deep emotion toward human beings and the anticipation for the new image of human beings.
