HEV(Hybrid Electrical Vehicle)s are considered as one of the next generation vehicles. To develop the HEV, there must be a reliable simulator, by which the capacities of the power sources are tested, and the parameters of the HEV are optimized before developing the real model of the HEVs. This process can save money for designing the HEV system and improve the system without experiments. Nowadays, traction of railway vehicles is usually provided by diesel fuel combustion. Hybridization offers the potential to achieve a step change in energy efficiency and we also need to develop simulators for performance test of hybrid railway vehicles. In this paper, the type of hybrid drive system is introduced, the characteristics of railway series hybrid system are compared with those of series hybrid vehicle system. A couple of simulators for performance test of HEV are introduced, the idea of constructing railway series hybrid system simulator using MATLAB SIMDRIVELINE is also introduced.

The brake judder comes from non-uniformities of the wheel assembly. non-uniformities of the wheel assembly causes mechanical effects such as a brake torque variation(BTV). A disc thickness variation(DTV) is related to the kinematic behavior of the disc. DTV is a main source of BTV. In this study, we predict Judder by comparing the real experiment of railway vehicle with ADAMS railway vehicle simulation. we carried out ADAMS railway vehicle simulation model and real experiment of railway vehicle. we've developed the detailed brake dynamic model and stick-slip program
Light-induced electrical switch <i>via</i> photo-responsive nanocomposite film

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Photo-responsive nanomaterials have attracted a lot of attention since they allow a remote control with a non-invasive stimulus—light. Owing to this property, it has been applied to next-generation electrical devices, which are desired to be flexible and transparent for a wider range of applications. Herein, we developed a flexible, transparent and conductive film which can change its shape <I>via</I> light of specific wavelength to control the electrical conductivity between electrodes. The film is composed of three layers: azobenzene incorporated poly(dimethylsiloxane), AzoPDMS; silk fibroin; and silver nanowires, AgNWs. When azobenzene within the polymer changes its molecular arrangement upon irradiation, the difference in volume changes of AzoPDMS and silk fibroin layer results in the film to bend. Since a silk fibroin layer folds inward upon irradiation, AgNWs are coated onto the silk fibroin layer to be selectively in contact with the electrodes. This photo-responsive nanocomposite film is flexible, transparent and conductive which can be connected to the circuit on demand <I>via</I> light acting as an electrical switch. 역률보상회로를 이용한 이동통신 중계기의 에너지 절감에 관한 연구

본 논문에서 이동통신 중계기를 위한 에너지 절감방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 현재 실제 현장에서 서비스하고 있는 DB(Dual Band)소형 중계기에 있는 SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply)에 PFC(Power Factor Correction)를 추가하여 전력소모를 감소하였으며, 이를 실제 구현하여 검증함으로써 실증된 결과를 도출하였다. 실증결과 장비 1식당 약 38.9% 피상전력 개선효과를 확인하였으며, 이를 연간으로 환산해 보면 약 230.43kWh의 에너지 절감효과가 있다. In this paper, the energy saving on mobile communication repeater is studied. DB(Dual Band) small repeater, which is currently used in the field for indoor coverage, is adopted as a test unit. For reducing the power consumption, PFC (Power Factor Correction) is included on SMPS (Switching Mode Power Supply) of the DB small repeater. The test results show that approximately 38.9% of the power consumption is reduced comparing with the repeater without PFC. It means that approximately 230.43kWh per unit can be saved annually.
