Fuel cell system which can solve the environmental problem is receiving attention. To use utility power necessary power conversion system from low voltage that is generated by fuel cell system. because fuel cell has special characteristic of low voltage high current. To improve PCS's efficiency the paralleling method is used. Available the method could reduce the switching loss. But the existing research could not be found optimal result and accompanying several effects. In this study analysis several effects causing the parallel method. The effects have been demonstrated through simulations and experiments.

This paper proposes ESS DC-DC Converter using Redox Flow Battery (RFB) for stand-alone microgrid. Price, safety, expandability and dynamics are crucial in ESS. Reports show that Zinc-bromine (ZnBr) RFB is the best choice in ESS. Simple electrical ZnBr RFB model is obtained from charging test. DC-DC converter Inductor current-DClink Voltage model is proposed for the DC microgrid. For the controller design in z-domain, the K-factor method is by considering nature of the digital controller. The control performance has been verified with simulation and hardware experiments. Lastly 10kW DC microgrid using RFB test result is shown.

본 논문은 연료전지용 PCS를 계통에 연계하는 과정을 보다 심도있게 진행하기위하여 배전계통을 모의 시뮬레이터로 구현 하였다. 제작된 시뮬레이터를 바탕으로 각배전반의 전력품질과 다수 PCS와 계통과의 전력분배를 실험한다.

Design and Efficiency Analysis 48V-12V Converter using Gate Driver Integrated GaN Module

This study presents the design and experimental result of a GaN-based DC-DC converter with an integrated gate driver. The GaN device is attractive to power electronic applications due to its superior device performance. However, the switching loss of a GaN-based power converter is susceptible to the common source inductance, and converter efficiency is severely degraded with a large loop inductance. The objective of this study is to achieve high-efficiency power conversion and the highest power density using a multiphase integrated half-bridge GaN solution with minimized loop inductance. Before designing the converter, several GaN and Si devices were compared and loss analysis was conducted. Moreover, the impact of common source inductance from layout parasitic inductance was carefully investigated. Experimental test was conducted in buck mode operation at 48 -12 V, and results showed a peak efficiency of 97.8%.
