      • Selected Restaurants in San Pablo, Laguna as Food Tourism

        Food tourism plays an important role in the tourist enterprise. Gastronomic experiences become known as a strategic commodity in branding food tourism destinations. There are tourists seeking authentic food in a certain place to satisfy their gastronomic experiences. This paper addressed the factors that motivate tourists to visit food tourist destinations and how affected the five influential factors of food tourism branding. The study was a quantitative research and used the convenience sampling method. Additionally, survey questionnaires were distributed to gather information from 100 respondents who were customers from selected restaurants in San Pablo, Laguna. The research design was then validated by the thesis adviser. The analysis of variance and t-test were used to identify the patterns of the criteria of the responses gathered. The findings showed under the influential factor Service Providers that the staffs are wellmannered and job-oriented, which strengthened the brand of the restaurant. Under the influential factor Payment , the selected restaurants used a competitive pricing system for the customers to afford a wide variety of food and services. Under the influential factor Advertisement , there are no other forms of advertisement aside from their logos. Under the influential factor Food Variety and Quality , there is certain uniqueness in the food served. Lastly, under the influential factor Distinctive Style of Cooking , the restaurants have their own signature dish and were properly presented to the customers.

      • Tourist Satisfaction of Glamping in Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Balete, Batangas

        The research determined the tourist satisfaction of Glamping in Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Balete, Batangas. It utilized the customer satisfaction program for Puhajarve Spa and Holiday Resort wherein the researchers enhanced their services. Using the qualitative design the data was gathered through interview and observation checklist by researchers and used narrative analysis to present the data. The study thought to determine the assessment of tourist of glamping in terms of Reliability, Assurance, Empathy, Tangibility and Responsiveness and identify the problems and challenges experience by the tourist of glamping in Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Balete, Batangas. In addition, the study needed to propose a customer satisfaction program based on the respondents responses. After the date gathering and analyses it can be concluded that Nayomi Sanctuary Resort is lacking in terms of reliability, assurance and tangibility. However the resort excelled with reference to empathy and responsiveness. The output of the research strives to come up with the customer satisfaction program.

        This study focused on the significant differences in choosing a destination brought by the socio-demographics of DLSU-D employees using a theoretical framework formulated in relation to Push-Pull theory. Unlike other studies, this considered all the demographics in examining its differences. Through Analysis of Variance and t-test, income and religion were known to show a significant difference in destination selection. Moreover, the results reveal that international destinations appeal to the respondents the most. The demographics that brought a significant difference in choosing a destination were religion and trip expenditure.

        The research is about the Action Plan of Community-Based Ecotourism in Brgy. Alas-As in San Nicolas, Batangas. The study aimed to provide possible recommendations and solutions to build more opportunities for the improvement of community-based ecotourism in Brgy. Alas-As in San Nicolas, Batangas. The Brgy. Alas-As in San Nicolas, Batangas is the leading community that embodies community-based ecotourism. The researchers used ASEAN Community-Based Tourism (CBT) Standard as framework for the study. The research was to apply the ASEAN Community-Based Tourism (CBT) in assessing the effectiveness of community-based ecotourism that also lack in a study conducted by Pookhao in 2014 entitled “Community-based Ecotourism: Transformation of the Local Community.” Quantitative descriptive research and purposive sampling was used with a sample size of 225 respondents through survey questionnaires that were personally distributed by the researchers. Percentage Frequency Distribution, T-Test and Analysis of Variance or ANOVA were used in analyzing the data. Based on the findings gathered, the respondents are mostly 26 to 35 years old, mostly males who are employed and have 10 years and above of residency. The objective of the study was to assess the effectiveness of community-based ecotourism in Brgy. Alas-As in San Nicolas, Batangas and to improve their quality of services, meet visitor s expectations and ensure the protection of the community and their natural and cultural heritage resources with an action plan.
