The Incineration of Sludge in the Overall Concept Sewage Treatment Plant-Incineration Plant

In this essay the currently predominant situation with respect to the treatment of waste, and in particular the wastewater treatment sludge, will be discussed. The consideration relate to the circumstances in the Federal Republik of Germany (FRG), with a general inclusion of the worldwide situation. The question will be asked is, what has to be changed in our national economy so that the path taken is at least correct, and in the long run the problems will not become greater, but can be reduced. The necessity of overall concepts is shown by the refuse and sewage sludge situation in the Federal Republik of Germany, especially in highpopulated regions with high industrialization. One possible solution for a settlement area is presented here as an example. This concept is characterized by a high efficient, high process stability, maximal energy profit and energy utilisation, as well as optimal exploitation o f residues.

전형적으로, 폐수처리의 가장 중요한 관제는 산소를 소비하는 유기화학물질을 제거하는 것이다. 위에서 말한 것에 대한 가장 중요한 측정(測定)은 BOD 또는 COD이다. 슬럿지 부하속도(負荷速度) SLR는 가장 중요한 설계 변수로써 채택되었다. BO˝HNKE와 DAMIECKI의 연구는 활성 슬럿지 공정의 슬럿지-부하속도 SLR와 정화 효율사이에 명백한 상호관계가 있다는 것을 알게 되었다.
