        Populus alba × glandulosa 와 그의 양친종의 (兩親種) 형태 , 해부학 , 생리학적 연구

        The morphological, anatomical and physiological traits were eximined for Populus alba X giandulosa which is an important planting species in Korea. The results obtained are as follows: 1. External characters in the leaf shape and chaff shape in the catkin were inherited as incomplete dominance but nectar gland was inherited as dominance. 2. Among the 15 selected clones, 9 clones were male, 2 clones female and 2 clones monoecious. 3. There were well-developed cork layers and bast fiber bundles in the bark. 4. Primordial leaves composed of 3 layers of cells and those undifferentiated into palisade and spongy parenchymas differed in its origin. 5. Leaf scare consisted of two kinds of tissues; one is connected to vascular bundle and the other not to vascular bundle. Tissues which had been connected to vascular bundle were isolated with only 2 or 3 layers of cork cells from the outside. 6. There was complicated arrangement in the vascular bundle of petioles. 7. Growth of the hybrid was sensitively influenced by external temperature, day-length and amount of light. In particular, it was apparent in height growth. 8. Flatness, loam soils and a 60 x 60㎝ spacing might be best factors for the growth of P. alba x glandulosa. 9. The rooting of 15 clones was dependant upon external factors. 10. The growth of P. alba x glandulosa was best at around 80% of soil moisture content on the basis of plot water capacity. 11. Temperature difference between inside and outside stems below 100㎝ during the winter was the greatest at the south among seasons and among directions. 12. The sap movement was markedly influenced by air temperature, relative humidity in forest stand and moisture content in stem. 13. Total sugars in the cortex changed with season but did not differ in the dircetion of the stem. 14. Isoperoxidase variations in the leaf were different among 15 clones. Thus, it may be useful as a criterium for clonal identification. 15. The rate of soil moisture content decreased at a rapid slope was faster than that at a slow slope. Poor growth of P. alba x glandulosa at the slope was probably due to depletion of soil moisture.

        × Populus albaglandulosa 의 수액류속도 (樹液流速度)

        To obtain some informations for the water supply problems of ×Populus albaglandulosa, a series of experiments on the speed of sap movement in the trunk of ×P. albaglandulosa was carried out under the different tree age, soil moisture, time of day, and seasonal condition, by method of injecting of 1% Fuchsin solution. The results showed that the speed of sap movement was great in the conditions of low relative humidity, abundant leaves, and high temperature, but it was less influenced by different tree age and soil moisture.

      • Pinus rigida×Pinus taeda 苗의 寒害防止에 對하여

        P. rigida×taeda 1∼1年生苗의 防寒을 爲하여 苗圃周圍에 볏짚으로 높이 3.2m가 西側가 北側에 各各 40m 길이의 防柵을 한 곳과 同一한 苗床에 防寒을 爲하여 vinyl로 tunnel을 만든 床과 積雪下의 苗床의 溫度의 移動을 調査하여 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1. 防寒을 爲한 防柵은 幼苗의 凍害豫防에는 效果가 없고, 寒風害에 效果的인 施設이다. 2. 苗床에 91㎝ 높이로 白色 vinyl로 덮고 그 外部에 볏짚을 세워서 防寒을 하고 다시 그 外部에 黑色 vinyl 발로 防寒施設을 한 床이 가장 效果的인 防寒施設이다. 3. 積雪은 苗床의 低溫度를 높이고, 高溫度를 낮추고 있어 幼苗의 防寒에는 效果가 있다. To prevent freezing injury of 2-year-old(1-1 seedlings) Pinus rigida × taeda in a nursery, the following methods were tested. 1) The northern and western sides of the nursery were protected with rice straw fence 3.2m high and 40m long. 2) A vinyl house was constructed. 3) Temperature changes in the snow cover were monitored. The following results were obtained: 1) Rice straw fence failed to protect of the frost damage. 2) Among 4 types of vinyl houses tested, a house 91㎝ high in the center covered first with white vinyl, next with rice straw stacked upright on the both long sides of the house, and finally covered with black vinyl screen was the most effective in protection of the freezing damage. 3) Snow cover increased minimum soil temperature considerably and helped to protect the seedlings.

      • 核置換에 의한 3n Populus alba×glandulosa의 育成 "in virto" 硏究

        생장이 속한 allotriploid의 Populus alba×glandulosa를 육성하기 위한 기초연구의 일환으로 2n-pollen의 대량획득 방법과 핵상별 anther culture의 최적방법을 규명하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Pectinase 1%, cellulase 2%, 그리고 D-mannitol 0.6M 등의 조성 enzyme액에서 pollen을 진탕처리한 결과 언 핵상의 pollen이나 80∼200분에서 cell wall이 용해되었다. 2. Pollen의 발아촉진을 위한 n-hexane처리의 회수와 핵상과는 관계가 없다. 3. Pollen의 X-ray에 대한 감수성은 핵상과 상관이 없고 고선량에서는 n과 2n-pollen 다같이 회분관 신장속도에 영향하였다. 4. Centrifuge force에 의한 n과 2n-pollen의 침강속도는 2n-pollen이 속하였다. 5. Anther culture를 위한 basic media와 plant hormone의 조성은 n-pollen에서는 W.S. basic media에 BAP 0.1ppm+NAA 0.5ppm이 가장 좋고 2n-pollen에서도 W.S. basic media에 BAP 0.1ppm NAA 0.5ppm이 가장 좋았다. The studies were carried out in order to induce vigorous growth through allotriploids of poplus alba<glandulosa. The results are as follows. 1. From n-, and 2n-pollen treated with enzyme solution containing 1% pectinase, 2% cellulase and 0.6M D-mannitol, the highest rate of pollen of cell wall dissolved were obtained in the 80 to 200 min. tretament. 2. n-, and 2n-pollen treated with n-hexane was no difference in the pollen germinatian. 3. n-, and 2n-pollen radiated with x-ray of 100-500kr was influence on the elongation speed of pollen tubes. 4. Sinking speed of pollen grains through centrifugal force was speedy in the tetraploid than in the diploid. 5. The production of callus through 2n-and 4n-anther culture varied with basic media and plant hormone, but good production was obtained from Wolter and Skoog medium containing 0.1ppm BAP and 0.5ppm NAA. 6. n-, and 2n-pollen plantleetsers were induced form populus alba×glandulosa anther cultured "in vitro" on synthetic medium.

      • 韓國産 樹木의 核學的 硏究 : Ⅰ. 자주무궁화의 Meiosis에 對하여 Ⅰ. Meiosis of Hibiscus syriacus var. purpureus UYEKL

        자주무궁화의 P.M.C 에 對한 meiosis 現象을 調査한바, metaphase Ⅰ에서 2價 染色體가 40本 觀察되고, anaphase, telophase의 各各 Ⅰ,Ⅱ에서 染色體의 接合과 分離現象이 다같이 正常이고 花粉의 高稔性으로 보아 자주무궁화는 2n=80의 diploid이다. The chromosome behavior and it's synapsis in PMCs were observed in Hibiscus syriacus var. purpureus UYEKI. The results are summarized as follows. 1) Most of nuclear plates showed chromosome pairing of 40Ⅱ at metaphase Ⅰ. 2) The chromosome behavior were normally at metaphase Ⅰ,Ⅱ, anaphase Ⅰ,Ⅱ and telophase Ⅰ,Ⅱ. 3) The frequency of fertile pollen was high in the all individuals.
