실천신학의 과제와 전망 - 한국복음주의 실천신학회를 중심으로

실천신학은 교회와 신학교, 목사와 신학자를 연결하는 다리 역할을 위한 것이다. 양자 사이의 간격을 잇기 위해 실천신학자는 네 가지 임무가 있다. 즉 교회와 사회의 현재 상황을 서술함, 현 상황에서 일어나고 있는 일들을 해석함, 지금 여기서 반드시 있어야 할 일을 드러냄, 그리고 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위한 실용적인 방향이나 해결책을 제시함. 「복음과 실천신학」은 한국복음주의 일천신학회(이하 한복실)의학회지로써 한국교회에 대한 기여를 어느 정도 파악할 수 있다. 「복음과 실천신학」 제1-24권에 수록된 총 260편의 논문을 분석한 후 연구자는 다음과 같은 사실을 발견하고 몇 가지를 아래와 같이 제안한다. 1) 한국복음주의 실천신학회의 학회지인 『복음과 실천신학』은 목회학, 설교학, 예배학, 그리고 전도학의 네 분야에 관심을 집중시키는 것이 필요하다. 2) 『복음과 실천신학』은 교회와 신학교의 간격을 좁히기 위해 신학교수 외에 목회자와 연구자에게 그 문호를 보다 넓게 개방하는 것이 요청된다. 3) 『복음과 실천신학』은 특별히 매호(每號)의 주제관련 기고(寄稿)하도록 적극적으로 회원을 독려하는 것이 필요하다. 위의 제안과 더불어 연구자는 실천신학에 관심을 갖는 분들에게 아래의 몇 가지를 제안한다. 1) 실천신학의 이슈들을 연구할 때에 사례연구 방법을 보다 적극적으로 활용하자. 2) 보다 현실적이면서도 미래지향적인 목사후보생들을 양성하기 위해 신학교육에 대한 관심과 연구가 있어야 한다. 3) 실천신학 분야를 위한 보다 구체적인 제안들이 따라와야 한다. Practical theology is for bridging gaps between church and seminary, pastor and scholar. To bridge these gaps, practical theologian has four tasks, that is, describing present situation in church and society, interpreting what is happening in present situation, revealing what ought to happen here and now, and presenting pragmatic direction or solution to accomplish Gods will. According to analyze articles in the Gospel and Praxis, from no. 1 to no. 24, 260 articles in total, the researcher found and suggests some solutions as following: 1) The Gospel and Praxis (G&P) needs to concentrate its interest of contribution limited to only four fields of study: poimenics, homiletics, christian liturgy, and evangelism. 2) G&P needs to open its door more widely to pastors and researchers besides theology professors to bridge the gap between church and seminary. 3) G&P needs to promote members to contribution of articles related to current topic of each issue. In addition to them, the researcher suggests some works to people interested in practical theology: (1) Utilizing case study method to research the issues in practical theology. Practical theology researchers may use inductive method as well as deductive one like physician uses both methods to diagnose and prescribe for patient. (2) Seminary education should be reviewed to prepare seminarians more realistically and also future-oriented. (3) More specific suggestions are followed for practical theology fields.

침체된 한국교회의 활력회복 방안에 관한 연구 - 교회당 문턱은 낮추고, 교회 문턱은 높여라! -

하나님의 교회는 아름답고 영광스럽다. 그러나 오늘날 한국교회는 맛을 잃은 돌소금과 같이 한국사회에서 신뢰를 잃고 있으며, 세상을 변화시키는 역할을 수행하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 교회의 질적인 저하에 따라 한국교회는 수적인 면에서도 침체의 위기를 만나고 있다. 이를 타개하는 방안이 “교회당 문턱은 낮추고, 교회의 문턱은 높여라.”이다. 교회당 문턱을 낮춘다는 것은, 교회의 다섯 가지 기능인 예배, 교제, 교육, 전도와 선교, 그리고 봉사를 통해서 더욱 많은 사람들을 교회당 안으로 불러들이는 것이다. 교회 문턱을 높이는 방안으로 다음의 것들을 제시한다. 교회원 관리를 철저히 하고, 세례 교육과 직분자 교육을 충실하게 시행하며, 성경공부와 교리공부를 강화하고, 신자들이 세상과 구별된 삶을 살도록 성찬식을 자주 그리고 의미 있게 갖고, 직분은 섬김을 위한 것임을 인식하게 만든다. 한국교회는 이웃들을 전도하며 교회로 인도함으로써 침체를 극복해야 하며, 거룩한 교회가 됨으로써 세상에 하나님의 영광을 드러내는 교회가 되어야 한다. God’s church is glorious and beautiful. But the Korean churches are just like a rock salt lost its taste. The Korean society does not trust its churches any more, because they are not showing their holiness, nor acting as transforming agent. The more she is losing her glories, the more the number of her membership is declining. To overcome these situations pastors and elders of the Korean churches should lower the threshold of their church building, and make higher the threshold of their church. It means that the church leaders open its main gate widely in order that many new comers rush into the church building. And they should raise up the standards of baptism and appointing church officers. This article suggests some practical solutions related to the functions of the church, that is, worship, fellowship, education, evangelism and mission, and minister(diakonia). That is, managing her membership squarely, educating candidates for baptism and church officers, opening classes of Bible study and catechism, administering the Lord’s supper more frequently and meaningfully, and training officers to own servant’s heart. They help the Korean churches grow in numbers and in quality with overcoming her depressed situation in quality as well as quantity.

소명과 역할을 중심으로 본 목사직(牧師職)에 관한 연구

한국교회에 널리 퍼져있는 교회의 안과 밖을 성속(聖俗)으로 나누고, 목사 직을 성직으로, 다른 직업을 세속직으로 구분하는 것은 성경적이 아니다. 목사 직은 교회 내에서 최고위직이고 다른 직분이나 일반 교인들은 하위직으로 취 급하는 것은 하나님의 뜻이 아니다. 하나님의 부르심은 예수 그리스도를 통해 주어지는 구원과 하나님과의 교제 에서 출발한다. 그리고 이 부르심에서 나아가 사역에로의 부르심이 있게 된다. 모든 사역을 위한 직분이나 직업은 하나님의 부르심을 따라 주어지거나 선택해 야 한다. 하나님의 부르심은 먼저 성령님께서 각자에게 주신 은사를 확인함으 로써 일정의 선택의 범위가 주어진다. 그리고 개인적으로 또는 이웃이나 교회 를 통해서 확증되는 가운데 특정한 직분이나 직업을 선택하거나 받게 된다. 모든 직분과 직업은 하나님의 부르심에 있어서 동등한 위치를 지닌다. 그러 나 목사에게 하나님의 말씀이 맡겨졌다는 점에서 목사직은 특별한 기능을 지 닌다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 말씀은 사람의 믿음과 생활의 표준이요, 모든 삶에서 기억하고 순종해야 할, 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑할 것을 가르쳐 주기 때 문이다. Many church members in Korea think that works for church are holy but jobs in the world are not holy. They regard pastorate as sacred vocation, but other occupations as secular job. They also treat pastorate as the utmost position in church, while other duties as inferior one. But these kinds of thinking or attitudes are not Biblical nor from God’s will. God’s calling begin with salvation through Jesus Christ, our Savior and fellowship with God in Christ. This call proceeds to calling for ministries. All the duties in church and occupations in the world ought to choose or be given according to God’s calling. God’s calling makes Christians be able to discern its scope by discovering and developing individual’s gifts. And specific duty or job is determined by one’s own research or church leaders or other peoples’ counsel or advice. All the duties and occupations are equal on the basis of God’s calling. Pastorate, however, has a special role apart from other works, that is, pastor is a person who is entrusted God’s Word. The Bible is the only standard for man’s faith and life, and teaches how to love God and love one’s neighbors.
