한국 성인 성별에 따른 조기음주 시작 연령이 폭음과 음주운전에 미치는 영향: 국민건강영양조사(제7기 1차, 2016)

본 연구는 한국 성인에 있어 성별에 따른 조기음주 시작 연령이 폭음과 음주운전에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위함이다. 연구방법으로는 2016년 한국건강영양조사 자료를 가지고 복합표본 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 음주시작연령은 성별에 따라 유의한 차이로 남성은 16-19세에서 36.7%로 급격히 증가를 보였고, 여성은 20세 이상에서 73.7%가 음주를 시작하였다. 성별은 폭음과 음주운전 둘 다에 가장 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수로(p <.001) 나타났다. 남성은 0-15세, 여성은 13-15세에 음주를 시작한 성인에서 폭음율이 높았고, 남녀 모두 0-12세 어린 연령에서 음주를 시작한 성인이 음주운전율이 높았다. 따라서 조기에 음주 시작이 가능한 어린연령을 대상으로 음주 예방과 관리를 위한 다양한 보건교육 중재프로그램 개발이 요구된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of age at the onset of early drinking on binge drinking and drunk driving according to sex among Korean adults. As a research method, The complex sample multiple regression analysis was conducted with the 2016 Korea Health and Nutrition Survey data. Results, The age at onset of alcohol drinking increased significantly from 16-19 years of age to 36.7% among men, and 73.7% of women aged 20 years or older started drinking. Sex was the most significant variable (p <.001) in affecting on both binge drinking and drunk driving. Male adults who started drinking alcohol between 0-15 years and female adults who started drinking alcohol between 13-15 years had a higher rate of binge drinking, and male and female adults who drank alcohol at 0-12 years of age had a higher rate of drunk drinking. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an diverse health education intervention program for drinking prevention and management for younger ages that start drinking early.
