The purpose of this study was to present a method for self-identification and management of the hazards of chemical substances in consumer chemical products using a Green Screen model. In this study, the GreenScreen method was used to evaluate the hazards of chemical substances in each use in the consumer chemical product, and a hypothetical consumer chemical product was selected as the target product. The hazard management method was proposed through the hazard assessment of the target substances. As a result of hypothesis evaluation of hypothetical consumer chemical products, various results were drawn from benchmarks 1 to 4, and in the case of liquid synthetic detergents, surfactants, preservatives and fragrances was classified as a level to manage the hazard. GreenScreen method recommends that the chemicals in the product should be managed to reduce the hazards for those with a benchmark of 2 or higher, and if these databases are built into a structured inventory, companies will be able to review the substances that need to be replaced by considering their functions.
