The function of bracket is not only to put components on the engine but also to support it stably to maintain a regular its capacity for vehicle movement. The high performance bracket to be able to guarantee the durability for severe vibration condition is demanded by customer's quality strengthening policy. Because the variables for a design of bracket shape are very limited in order to avoid interference among components in the engine-room, a designer has been experienced many trial and error at the fist step of bracket development. The development of a stress and fatigue analysis method lately can make it possible to reduce the development cost and the time loss due to trial and error of the fist step of bracket development. Through the basis of S-N curve data for SPCC; the material of bracket, the shape design and the fatigue life expectation of bracket in the vibration test condition has been performed in this paper.
