대순진리회 사회복지의 현황과 과제 -노인요양시설 유닛케어를 중심으로-

본 논문은 한국 신종교의 사회복지활동과 관련하여 대순진리회 이념에 나타나는 사회복지의 성격을 규명하고, 대순사상과 사회복지 실천 가치에 대한 문제제기와 대순진리회 사회복지 활동에 있어서의 실천과제를 살펴보고자 한다. 먼저 대순진리회 사회복지의 이념을 이해하기 위해서는 대순사상에 나타난 인간과 사회의 문제를 살펴보아야 한다. 대순사상에서 강조하고 있는 인존은 인간이 지닌 참된 가치이며, 그것을 실현하는 데 인간 삶의 목적이 있다고 본다. 또한 사회적 차원에서 바라본 도통진경은 곧 이상사회의 전형을 나타낸 것이다. 이어서 사회복지의 주된 사상이라고 할 수 있는 해원상생(解寃相生)은 인간존엄의 극치를 이루고자 하는 것으로 주체와 객체 모두 자아를 실현할 수 있는 사회복지의 진정한 실천이념이라고 본다. 오늘날 대순진리회 사회복지의 현황은 비교적 현대사회에서 최근의 성과만을 보여주고 있다. 특히 노인요양시설 유닛케어의 설립과 운영에 관해서 살펴본 결과 해원상생의 이념을 바탕으로 노인의 진정한 삶의 질 향상을 위한 새로운 개념의 사회복지시설로서 우리나라 사회복지시설의 패러다임 전환에 크게 이바지 할 것으로 본다. 다만 보다 광범위하고 다양한 복지사업의 전개를 통해 한국신종교의 사회참여정신이 드러날 수 있도록 활성화하는 것이 오늘날 과제로 주어져 있다. This paper is focused on its characteristics of Daesoonjinrihoe relating with the activity of Korean new religion`s social welfare. This study explores issues of Daesoon thought and deal with the assignment of activity of Daesoonjinrihoe`s social welfare. At first, in order to understand the idea of Daesoonjinrihoe`s social welfare we need to explore the problem of human and society in Daesoonjinrihoe. The concept of Injon(it can be translated to harmonious union of divine beings and human beings) means the true value and ultimate object of human being. Dotongjingyeong(translated to realization of the Do or Dao in the world) concerning to a perspective of social dimension expresses the ideal type of society as well. The concept of Haewonsangsaeng(translated to resolution of grievance for the mutual beneficence of all life) aiming to the ultimate state of human dignity is a kind of practical idea in social welfare that come true the oneself of the both of subject and object. The present state of social welfare in Daesoonjinrihoe today shows its only recent results. For instance the unit care system of the senior care institution is established for the improvement of quality in seniors` life. It is rated as new facility that can contribute to the transformation of paradigm in social welfare. However Daesoonjinrihoe, in order to reveal its mind of social participation, has its own assignment that should activate and develop its various welfare business.
