We investigated and analyzed medical device advertisements via mobile phone. Mobile phone apps in Google playstore, searched with 7 keywords: medical device, medical device shopping, hearing aids, contact lens, sphygmomanometer, glucose meter, and positive airway pressure unit. The apps were investigated as to whether they abide by the legal regulations related to medical device advertisement by MFDS. Many cases of false or exaggerated advertisement in mobile phone apps were identified. It is warranted that medical device advertising regulations needs to be expanded to cover the advertisement via mobile phone apps.

Urine incontinence is one of the major health issues among Korean elderly women with the prevalence of 64.2 %. There are many type of products for managing urine incontinence, however, there is no standard of performance test for urine absorbing underwear. The paper aimed to develop performance test methods for urine absorbing underwear. We modified the methods of ISO 11948-1 and KS PA 1012 and applied them to measure maximum absorption volume, short-time liquid release volume, and urine leakage volume. The results of the maximum absorption volume measured were 146.67(±10.95)ml based on short-time liquid release volume, 246.67(±41.47)ml based on leakage, and 325.48(±9.44)g based on ISO 11948-1.

보조공학기기 연구개발 활성화를 위한 개발전문가들의 견해 분석

본 연구의 목적은 보조공학기기 연구개발 현황 및 향후 방향을 알아보기 위해 보조공학기기 개발 전문가들의 견해를 알아보는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 보조공학기기 개발 관련 전문가 41명을 대상으로 보조공학기기 연구개발 및 보급의 활성화에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보조공학기기 연구개발에 대한 기업참여 및 지원에서의 중요도와 실행도에 관한 인식수준은 실행도가 중요도에 비해 유의미하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보조공학기기 연구개발에 필요한 기술 및 전문적 역량, 보조공학기기 생산품의 판로확보, 사업의 수익성 확보, 기기의 다양한 기능성, 장애학생 1인당 100만원 이상지원, 연구개발전문가들의 의견 수렴, 보조공학기기 보급을 위한 기관의 예산 확보, 국가기관의 보조공학기기 개발 및 보급 주체, 높은 연구개발 의사 등이 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 보조공학기기 연구개발 활성화를 위한 국가사업 지원 및 방향모색에 유용한 자료가 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is to explore the views of the experts in the development of assistive technology devices in order to find out the status and future direction of the research and development of assistive technology devices. For this purpose, 41 experts related to the development of assistive technology devices were surveyed on the promotion of research and development and distribution of assistive technology devices. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was shown that the level of awareness of importance and implementation in corporate participation and support for research and development of assistive technology devices was significantly lower than that of importance. Second, technical and professional capabilities required for research and development of assistive technology devices, securing market pathways for products of assistive technology devices, securing profitability of business, various functions of equipment, supporting more than 1 million won per student, collecting opinions from research and development experts, securing the agency"s budget for distributing assistive technology devices, developing and distributing the state-run organization"s breakfast engineering equipment, and high research and development intention for research and development were confirmed. These findings will be useful data for supporting national projects and finding directions for promoting research and development of assistive technology devices.

SAFMEDS 교수전략을 적용한 전문가 교육 사례연구

본 연구의 목적은 학습 유창성 향상에 유용한 SAFMEDS(Say All Fast a Minute Each Day shuffled)전략의 교육적 유용성을 보여준 사례연구이다. 본 연구에 참여한 전문가는 일반대학원 정규과정에 개설된 자폐성 장애 연구를 수강한 3명의 대학원생들이며, 이들은 수업을 통해 자폐성장애와 언어행동분석 관련 이론 및 교육전략을 연구하였다. 연구 도구는 언어행동분석을 용어목록 60 쌍이며, 이것은 앞-뒷면에 용어-정의가 각각 인쇄되어 하나의 쌍으로 구성된 플래시카드(flashcard) 형태이다. 대상자들은 용어목록으로 앞면에 적힌 용어의 정의를 보고 뒷면에 적힌 용어를 정확하고 빠르게 반응할 수 있도록 학습하였다. SAFMEDS 훈련으로 나타난 주요 결과에 따르면, 연구대상자 A는 시간이 지남에 따라 정반응이 증가하고 오반응이 감소하는 양상을 보여주었고, 대상자 B와 C도 정반응이 증가하고 오반응이 감소하는 결과를 보여주었다. 대상자 B의 언어목록 제시 방법이 대상자 A와 C의 제시유형과는 달랐지만 모든 대상자들의 유창성 향상에서 긍정적인 효과가 나타났다. 결국, SAFMEDS 전략이 언어목록 습득에 효과적이었으며, 유창한 언어목록을 형성할 수 있는 유용한 교육 전략임이 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 일반교육뿐 아니라 특수교육 전문가들에게 SAFMEDS 전략의 유용성을 알리고 이를 다양한 영역에 적용할 수 있도록 방향을 제시하는데 의의가 있을 것이다. This study reported a case study that showed educational usefulness of SAFMEDS(Say All Fast a Minute Every Day Shuffled) on the improvement of Fluency. The participants were 3 experts with special teacher and speech and pathology, who enrolled a graduate level course, Research in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The SAFMEDS strategy was employed as a study tool for the participants to acquire fluent verbal repertories related to the key terminologies of Skinner’s (1957) analysis of verbal behavior, list 60 pairs of terms. The participants developed 60 term flash cards which presented a target term on the front of the card, and its definition on the back. During the intervention, the participants were required to see the definition and says its tern. The results of this study indicated that the SAFMEDS was effective to improve participants’ fluent verbal repertoires in terms of both accuracy and fluency. The results of this study would be able to contribute for education professionals to improve certain target operant’s accuracy and fluency.

특수교육현장에서의 교육용 보조공학기기 교사용 매뉴얼 개발을 위한 기초 연구

본 연구의 목적은 교육용 보조공학기기 평가 및 사용 매뉴얼에 필요한 요소를 알아보기 위함이다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 특수교육전문가 103명을 대상으로 교사용 매뉴얼 구성 요소의 타당도와 중요도에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과를 요약하면 다음 내용과 같다. 첫째, 교육용 보조공학기기 사용자 평가 문항에 대한 타당도는 "매우 타당함"으로 나타났고, 중요도는 "매우 중요함"으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육용 보조공학기기 사용 매뉴얼 문항에 대한 타당도는 "매우 타당함"으로 나타났으며, 중요도는 "매우 중요함"으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 특수교육 현장에 있는 교사들의 요구를 살펴봄으로써 특수교육용 보조공학기기 활용을 위한 교사용 매뉴얼 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to identify the elements required for the evaluation and use manual of assistive technology devices for education. For this purpose, 103 special education experts were surveyed on the validity and importance of the components of the teachers" manual. The findings are as follows. First, the validity of the user assessment questions of the assistive technology devices for education was found to be "very reasonable" and the importance to "very important". Second, the validity of the manual questions for the use of teaching aids was shown to be "very reasonable", and the importance was "very important". In conclusion, by examining the needs of teachers at special education sites, the development of teacher manuals for the utilization of assistive technology devices for special education should be made.

특수교육현장에서의 보조공학지원에 대한 장애학생 부모의 인식 및 요구

본 연구는 특수교육현장에서의 장애학생들의 보조공학기기 사용 실태와 장애학생 부모의 인식 조사를 통하여 특수교육현장에서의 보조공학지원 실태 및 장애학생들의 요구를 살펴보고 이를 보조공학지원에 유용한 자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 특수교육지원센터로부터 보조공학기기를 지원받아 사용한 경험이 있거나 현재 사용 중인 장애학생 학부모 101명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보조공학기기 활용에 대한 전체 평균점수는 3.19로 나타났고, 보조공학기기 만족도에 관한 전체 평균점수는 3.06으로 나타났으며, 보조공학기기 효과에 대한 평균점수는 3.78로 나타났다. 또한 보조공학기기의 정보지원 제공자는 특수학급 교사가 가장 많았고, 보조공학기기 제공 기관은 ‘특수교육지원센터’가 가장 많았으며, 보조공학기기 전달방식은 ‘교사가 학생에게 전달"하는 경우가 가장 많았다. 둘째, 보조공학지원 문제점은 ‘자녀의 장애유형에 맞는 보조공학기기 미비’가 가장 많았고, 보조공학지원 요구에서는 ‘다양한 최신기기 지원’이 필요하다는 응답이 가장 많았다. The purpose of this study is to investigate Assistive Technology(AT) devices utilization status of student with disabilities and recognition of parents of children with disabilities in special education settings. This study surveyed 101 parents of students with disabilities who had experience in using or are currently using AT devices with support from the special education support center. The results were as follows. First, The overall average score about the use of AT devices was 3.19, the overall average score about the satisfaction of AT devices was 3.06, while the average score about the effectiveness of AT devices was 3.78. In addition, information support providers of AT devices had the largest number of special-class teachers, the largest number of AT devices providers were ‘special-education support centers,’ and the most frequently used method of AT devices was ‘teacher to students.’ Second, the biggest problem of AT support was the lack of AT devices suitable for children"s disability types, while the majority of the respondents said that ‘support of various modern AT devices’ was needed in the special education settings for AT support.
