This paper presents dynamic modeling and its validation regarding automotive brake system.Using the model. the dynamic characteristics was studied for the interacton between brake system components when the brake is applied and released. The model includes a brake pedal, vacuum booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve which shows the relationship between the line pressure and the brake torque applied to the wheel. In order to validater the dynamic model, the whole system was divided into individual component of which scope appropriate to be programmed using Object-Oriented Programming Method in the MATLAB SIMULINK. This modular approach was adopted to utilize the simulation tool in various field such as AICC and vehicle platooning,etc. Finally the simulation results are compared with experimental results which shows good correspondence between the developed brake model and actual brake system.<br/>
