      • 중동지역 이슬람을 위한 선교전략에 관한 연구 : 방송선교를 중심으로

        본 논문의 목적은 중동지역에 살고 있는 무슬림들에게 복음을 전하기 위한 "방송선교 전략"에 관한 연구이다. 지금까지 한국 교회는 중동지역에 살고 있는 무슬림들을 너무 도외시 해왔다. 그 이유는 중동 지역의 선교가 어렵고, 중동 지역에서 이슬람의 세력이 워낙 강하기 때문에 한국교회의 선교사역이 미미한 원인이 있다고 분석되어진다. 그러나 본 연구자의 관점에서 더욱 중요한 이유는 중동 이슬람 지역에 대한 효과적인 선교전략이 개발되지 못했기 때문이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구자는 복음에 적대적이고 현지인들과의 직접적인 접촉이 어려운 중동 이슬람 지역에서도 방송을 통해서는 집안까지 복음을 전할 수 있는 방법이 있다는 것을 생각하게 된다. 더 나아가 중동지역의 무슬림들에게 방송선교는 복음의 닫힌 문을 열수 있는 가장 효과적인 선교전략이 될 수 있다. 왜냐하면 중동지역에서는 정부의 심의를 거치지 않고 위성방송을 통하여 무슬림들이 살고 있는 안방까지 방송을 통해 복음이 수신될 수 있도록 허락하기 때문이다. 다른 말로 한다면 정부의 간섭을 받지 않고 방송을 통하여 중동의 무슬림들에게 예수그리스도에 관한 복음을 전파할 수 있는 것이다. 때문에 본 논문에서는 중동지역의 이슬람을 위한 효과적인 선교전략으로 방송선교에 관한 연구를 통해서 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문은 다음과 같이 전개되어진다. 제Ⅰ장은 서론으로서 본 논문의 연구의 필요성과 목적, 연구방법, 연구 범위와 한계로 구성한다. 제Ⅱ장은 중동 지역의 특성과 상황에 대해서 연구한다. 제III장은 이슬람의 역사와 교리를 집중적으로 연구 분석한다. 제Ⅳ장은 중동지역 무슬림을 위한 방송 선교전략을 한국교회가 반드시 적용하고 활용하도록 하기위해서 방송선교의 역할과 영향력을 알아보고 방송 선교전략의 효율성을 총체적으로 연구하여 제시한다. 제Ⅴ장은 결론 부분으로서 본 논문의 연구를 전체적으로 요약하고 본 논문이 도출해 낸 중동 지역의 효과적인 선교전략인 방송선교전략이 지니고 있는 중요성과 가치를 설명한다. 또한 오늘의 한국교회가 중동 지역 선교를 효율적으로 성취하기 위하여 방송을 가지고 선교전략을 활용하고 적용하도록 제언하는 것으로 본 논문을 끝맺는다. The purpose of the thesis is based on the study of the "strategy of broadcasting" in order to preach the gospel to Muslims in the Middle East. Currently, Korean churches have disregarded Muslims living in the Middle East. It is analyzed that the reason why the Korean churches do not try their best to do the missionary work is that it is hard to do a missionary work in the Middle East as Islam has a very strong, dominant, influence on the Middle East. However, this paper proposes that another important reason is that an effective mission strategy has not been developed to spread the Christian message effectively in the regions of the Middle East. Factors impacting this proposed mission statement include overcoming the religious and socio-cultural barriers that make Christian evangelism extremely difficult within the context of modern Islam. The author therefore proposes that the major methodology to be used is by broadcasting the Christian message via the various media available in today’s technically advanced world. Using broadcast media in all its natures, all of which are available in the countries occupying the Middle Eastern region, is considered to be a very effective means of evangelization as it allows people to listen and watch the programs that they wish to view without any overt interference of the local authorities, be they governmental, secular, or religious in nature. Without the interference of the local authorities, the gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared with those who would choose to listen to it. Based upon this premise, this thesis will suggest a plan for an effective mission strategy to disseminate the Christian message throughout the Middle East through the use of media broadcasting. This thesis has the following composition. Chapter Ⅰ is an introduction and composed of the necessity, purpose, study methods, and range and limitation of the study. Chapter Ⅱ examines the characteristics and situations of the Middle East. Chapter Ⅲ intensively examines and analyzes the history and religious dogma of Islam. Chapter Ⅳ examines the role of missionary works through broadcasting and its influences in order for Korean churches to apply and utilize the mission strategy through broadcasting to Muslims in the Middle East, and suggests an efficient mission strategy through broadcasting in general. Chapter Ⅴ is the conclusion, summarizing the research results of this thesis on the whole and explaining the importance and value of the proposed broadcast based mission strategy. Finally, this thesis will be finished by suggesting that today's Korean churches utilize and apply the mission strategy using broadcasting to achieve their hoped for missionary works in the Middle East efficiently.
