소셜 빅데이터 분석 기반 인천아시안게임 중계방송 연관단어 분석: 야구와 축구를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 소셜 빅데이터 분석 기술을 기반으로 2014 인천아시안게임 야구와 축구를 중계 방송한 방송 3사(KBS, MBC, SBS)와 캐스터 및 해설위원에 대한 시청자의 의견을 분석하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 사용된 데이터는 트윗 메시지 1,592,834건이었다. 연구 결과, 대중들은 축구보다는 야구에 높은 관심을 나타냈으며, SBS의 자막실수(대한 일본), 해설위원의 전문성(박찬호), KBS 해설위원의 경기결과 예측(이영표), MBC의 캐스터와 해설위원의 호흡(김성주, 안정환, 송종국) 등에 높은 관심을 보였다. 결론적으로, 대중들은 인천아시안게임 중계방송에 대해 즐거움과 재미, 캐스터 및 해설위원의 전문성(해설 및 경기예측), 그리고 캐스터의 인지도(예능프로그램 참여)에 많은 관심을 보인 것을 알 수 있다. 빅데이터 기반의 소셜미디어 분석을 미디어스포츠에 활용한다면, 보다 많은 시청자들의 흥미와 참여를 유발할 수 있는 미디어스포츠 콘텐츠 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. This study aims to examine the public view highlighted during the baseball and soccer events of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. By using Tweeter for social big data analysis (specifically 1,592,834 tweets), this study analyzes related word towards the Incheon Asian Games broadcast and commentators (SBS, MBC, KBS). One of the main findings is that the general public were much more interested in baseball over soccer during the Incheon Asian Games. Also, people showed higher interest on a caption mistake on-air and SBS’s professional and background choice of a commentator, teamwork between the caster and commentator by MBC, and KBS’s ability to accurately predict the outcome. In conclusion, we found that the viewers during 2014 Incheon Asian Games showed higher interest towards the commentator’s profession and background, the entertainment, the commentating abilities of the caster and commentator (i.e. predicting the outcome), and the caster’s awareness on broadcasting during the Incheon Asian Games. By understanding social media with big data analysis for sports media, this study may contribute to developing sports media contents lead to a great attention from the viewers.

본 연구의 목적은 컬링 인공지능을 현장에 적용하기 위해 필요한 요소 기술은 무엇인지, 어떠한 관점을 가지고 컬링 인공지능 시스템을 개발해야 하는지 탐색적 연구를 수행하는 것이다. 연구 결과, 컬링 과학화 연구는 웹 및 모바일 기반 경기분석 툴 개발, 경기분석 및 예측 모형 연구, 상황인지를 위한 스톤 색상 및 위치 추적, 물리엔진을 이용한 시뮬레이션 개발 및 훈련 보조기능을 갖춘 컬링 로봇 개발 등이 수행되고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 인공지능에 의해 경기상황을 인지하고 최적의 샷 수행이 가능한 스포츠 인공지능 컬링 시스템은 구현되지 못하고 있다. 결론적으로, 컬링 인공지능 시스템 개발은 지식베이스 구축을 위한 디지털화된 용어 정의, 딥러닝이 가능한 수준의 데이터 수집 및 DB 구축이 선행되어야 하며, 이를 구현하기 위해서는 스포츠과학자, 공학자, 스포츠 융합 전문가의 협업 및 융합 연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to introduce a case study of curling Artificial Intelligence(AI) and to investigate the various methods to apply AI system in curling. As a result, It found that the scientific research of curling has been carried out the development of performance analysis tools based on the web and mobile devices, the performance analysis and prediction research, the video-based stone tracking system for the situation recognition, the development of simulation using the physics engine and the curling robot with training assist function and so on. AI system in curling which can recognize the game situation and perform the optimal shot is not yet realized. In conclusion, the development of the curling AI system must take precedence the definition of digitalized curling terminology for knowledge base construction, the data collection to apply the deep learning, and the database construction. The collaboration and convergence research of sports scientists, engineers, and sports convergence experts are all required to implement the curling AI systems.

소셜 빅데이터 기반 2016리우올림픽 축구 관련 이슈 및 인물에 대한 연관단어 분석

본 연구의 목적은 소셜 빅데이터를 기반으로 리우올림픽 축구 관련 이슈 및 인물에 대한 대중들의 주요 관심사를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 수집된 데이터는 2016 리우올림픽 한국축구 경기와 관련된 웹 뉴스 및 댓글이다. 경기별 주요 이슈 및 대중들의 관심사를 알아보기 위해 연관단어 분석을 실시하고, NodeXL을 이용하여 시각화하였다. 연구 결과, 대중들에게 높은 관심을 받은 경기는 피지와의 경기, 한국축구대표팀 관련 인물은 손흥민, 해설위원은 이영표, 캐스터는 조우종으로 나타났다. 리우올림픽에 출전한 한국축구대표팀에 대한 대중들의 생각은 일부 부정적인 평가가 나타났지만, 대체로 긍정적인 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 해설위원 및 캐스터에 대한 대중들의 관심은 경기결과 및 예측, 설명에 대한 재치, 해설위원 및 캐스터의 호흡, 즐거움 요소(예능)로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 스포츠빅이벤트에 대한 대중들의 관심을 높일 수 있는 방안은 다양한 스포츠 분석 콘텐츠 제공, 전문성과 예능감 등을 겸비한 방송해설자 선정이 될 수 있다. This paper seeks to better understand the focal issues and persons related to Rio Olympic soccer games through social data science and analytics. This study collected its data from online news articles and comments specific to KOR during the Olympic football games. In order to investigate the public interests for each game and target persons, this study performed the co-occurrence words analysis. Then after, the study applied the NodeXL software to perform its visualization of the results. Through this application and process, the study found several major issues during the Rio Olympic men’s football game including the following: the match between KOR and PIJ, KOR player Heungmin Son, commentator Young-Pyo Lee, sportscaster Woo-Jong Jo. The study also showed the general public opinion expressed positive words towards the South Korean national football team during the Rio Olympics, though there existed negative words as well. Furthermore the study revealed positive attitude towards the commentators and casters. In conclusion, the way to increase the public's interest in big sporting events can be achieved by providing the following: contents that include various professional sports analysis, a capable domain expert with thorough preparation, a commentator and/or caster with artistic sense as well as well-spoken, explanatory power and so on. Multidisciplinary research combined with sports science, social science, information technology and media can contribute to a wide range of theoretical studies and practical developments within the sports industry.
