전자 메일 서비스 사용자들이 급격히 증가하고, 전자 메일을 통해 주고 받는 중요한 메시지들을 보호하기 위하여 PGP를 사용하는 경우가 많아지고 있으나 인터페이스를 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 개선하여야 한다. 그리고, PC에서 동작하는 메일 클라이언트들은 일반 사용자들이 설정하기 어려운 POP3 서버 및 SMTP 서버등의 여러 사항들을 설정하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전자 메일을 사용하는데 있어 어려운 항목 설정이 필요 없고 메시지의 보안을 위한 PGP 기능을 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 전자 메일 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

음성인식에서의 효율적인 HMM 파라미터 smoothing에 관한 연구

The widely used statistical smoothing methods such correspodence smoothing and co-ocurrence smoothing are known to yield better performance as compared to the floor smoothing method. However, the statistical smoothing methods require parameter interpolation, and if the amount of training data for a recognition unit is relatively small as compared to that of other recognition units, the HMM parameters of the recognition unit may not be smoothed appropriately, because the direction of smoothing mainly depends on the phonemes having a large amount of training data. So in this paper, we have studied an effective HMM parameter smoothing method where fuzzy relationship between output symbols is used for Korean speech recognition. In this method, different smoothing matrices are applied to recognition units by varying the fuzziness factor according to the size of training data.
