        직교 방사모드를 가지는 이중대역/이중편파 안테나 설계

        The communication antenna requires various performance antennas in a limited space. In this paper, a dual-band / dual-polarized antenna with orthogonal radiation mode was proposed and fabricated. The proposed antenna consists of the lower radiator of the GPS L1 band and the upper radiator of the Bluetooth band and operates in a single feeder structure. using orthogonal radiation mode, the GPS L1 band implements the directional radiation mode of circular polarization performance, and the Bluetooth band implements the omni-directional radiation mode of vertical polarization performance. The implemented antennas have the advantages of miniaturization because they can realize different radiation modes at the same time, single feed structure eliminates the need for an additional feed conversion structure and minimizes the gain drop due to the lose element. The proposed antenna can be applied to GPS and Bluetooth communication antennas through fabrication and measurement.

        차기 구축함용 피아식별장치의 구성과 원형 위상배열 안테나에 대한 연구

        In this paper, IFF(Identification of Friend or Foe) system for the next destroyer and its circular phased array antenna are presented. The ship based IFF system consists of the interrogator, the transponder, the ACU the APU and the antenna. The antenna is comprised of two rows and sixty-four columns of dipole elements, which are have a vertical polarization. It provides a three different types of radiation patterns in single phased array antenna, such as a sum pattern, a difference pattern and a omni pattern, and these patterns are used for the communications of interrogator and transponder. For a sum pattern, all of 64 columns of elements are operated, and the quarter of 64 columns are enabled for a sum and a different pattern. This system as one of monopulse surveillance radar identifies friends and foes with an ISLR pulse and an RSLS pulse via an omni pattern and a difference pattern respectively.

        복합자성유전체를 이용한 항공기 CLAS 안테나 개발

        본 논문에서는 스마트 스킨 기술을 활용한 소형경량 및 광대역 특성을 갖는 항공기용 안테나 내장 스킨 구조(CLAS: Conformal Load bearing Antenna Structure)를 설계하였다. 제안된 CLAS 안테나는 전기적 성능을 만족하기 위해 전도성 매쉬, 외부표피, 복사소자, 내부심재 및 하우징 등으로 구성하였다. 특히, 복사소자의 경우 복합자성유전체와 PCB에 에칭된 방사체로 구성되어 있으며 방사체는 복합자성유전체에 삽입되어 슬롯형 폴디드 대수주기 구조(Folded Log-Periodic)를 갖는다. 제안된 CLAS 안테나는 복합자성유전체에 의해 공진주파수가 낮아지고 임피던스 매칭특성이 향상되었으며 측정 결과, 안테나의 소형경량 및 광대역 특성을 확인하였다. In this paper, a compact and wideband CLAS(Conformal Load bearing Antenna Structure) was studied using smart skin technique. In order to satisfy the electrical performance of the CLAS antenna, the proposed CLAS antenna is composed of conductive mesh, face-sheet, radiator, honeycomb, housing. Especially, radiator is composed of composite magneto-dielectric material and radiating element etched on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). The radiating element is inserted into the composite magneto-dielectric material and has sloted Folded LP(Log Periodic) structure. By fabricated composite magneto-dielectric, the resonance frequency is decreased and the impedance matching characteristics is improved. We verified that the antenna has wideband characteristics and compact size using the antenna test results.
