It is well known that the aircraft engine inlets against the bird strike at the aircraft. But The bird strike to small aircraft has not been an issue because of low speed of aircraft and usage as a private aircraft. Generally the compliance of the bird strike regulation is limited to Large Commercial Aircraft. Now a days the forecast of dramatic increasing of VLJ(Very Light Jet), the usage of a metal for an aircraft structure and flight time of general aviation due to air-taxi for the point to point transportation, would rise up the need of bird strike regulations and a safety enhancement in normal and utility categorized aircraft. In this study, the safety of bird strike to small aircraft wing leading edge made of a metal was compared using the explicit finite element analysis. The impact analyses of small aircraft wing under bird strike were performed by using commercial Hydrocde AUTODYN.
납 콘 충격 프로그래머를 이용한 ER-MLRS의 톱니파형 구현

Lead is used as the material of the specific structure to perform saw-tooth wave shape. As using the low elastic modulus and deformation of the lead, the various saw-tooth wave shapes of the impactor were obtained. The specific structure is called “lead cone shock programmer”. In this paper, the design and simulation of the lead shock programmer is performed to generate saw-tooth wave shape to meet requirements of ER-MLRS. Results of the time history was compared with ideal saw-tooth wave shape and simulation. As using tolerance range of the saw-tooth shock wave presented in MIL-STD-810G, handed ER-MLRS saw-tooth shock wave was in tolerance range.
