스톡홀름대학교에서의 한국문학 교육, 번역 및 연구 현황

This paper gives on overview over the present state of teaching, translation and research of Korean literature at Stockholm University, the largest university in Sweden. Dating back to 1968, the teaching of Korean language and Korea-related subjects as well as the establishment of a Korean studies section at Stockholm University have a comparatively long history, judged from a worldwide perspective. Since the end of the 1980s the spectrum of Korea-related courses and research fields began to be expanded in close collaboration with scholars from other departments. As students' interest in Korean language and Korean studies has significantly increased in recent years, various new courses and programs have been developed in order to provide students with a broad scope of knowledge. Along with this, a joint project on literature research has been launched with scholars of other departments. The diverse initiatives aimed at raising students' interest and expanding the fields of activities in Korean studies will promote the further development of Korean studies at Stockholm University to new horizons. 이 논문은 스톡홀름대학교에서의 한국문학 교육, 번역 및 연구 현황을 소개한다. 스톡홀름대학교는 스웨덴에서 제일 큰 대학교로, 1968년부터 한국어 및 한국 관련 학과를 설립하였고, 세계적으로 상당히 긴 역사를 가지고 있다. 1980년대 후반기부터 한국학 관련 스펙트럼은 점차적으로 확장되기 시작하여 다른 학과의 교수진과의 밀접한 협력으로 연구 분야를 넓혀갔다. 최근 한국학과 한국어에 대한 관심이 높아지면서, 다양한 수업과 프로그램을 기획하여 한국학의 다양한 영역을 학생들이 학습할 수 있도록 독려하고 있다. 이에 더해 다른 학과와의 공동 프로젝트를 통해 학제간 문학연구 역시 진행 중이다. 학생들의 관심과 한국학의 범위를 넓히려는 다양한 시도들은 스톡홀름 대학에서의 한국학 연구의 밝은 미래를 기대하도록 독려한다.
