      • Extended Kalman Filter를 이용한 속도 센서 없는 유도전동기의 벡터 제어

        김영렬(Young-Real Kim),설승기(Swung-Ki sul),박민호(Min-Ho Park) 전력전자학회 1992 전력전자학술대회 논문집 Vol.1992 No.-

In vector controlled induction motor drives, mechanical speed sensors have been used. However, they have some problems and restrict the wide applications of AC drives. This paper describes the vector control of an induction motor by the speed estimation using an extended Kalman filter. In recent years, the extended Kalman filter was used for the parameter identification fo an induction motor or for the speed estimation of a synchronous motor and induction motor. They used a mechanical equation in Kalman filter algorithm which is in need of the information about inertia of the motor and load, and the currents are only the state, so the angular frequency of the rotor flux is calculated out of the Kalman filter. In this paper, the extended Kalman filter is employed to identify the speed of an induction motor based on the measured quantities such as stator voltages and currents. The rotor flux is also estimated and used for the vector control. Simulation of the speed control has been carried out by the estimated speed to testify the usefulness of the speed estimation algorithm. Simulation results show that the speed estimation is useful and the speed control is possible by the estimated speed, Also, it has been shown that vector control by the estimated rotor flux has desirable performance.
