The paper describes a power factor correction high efficiency PWM single-phase rectifier. Its good characteristics such as simple circuit structure, simple PWM control, low switch stress, and low VAR rating of commutation circuits make the proposed rectifier very suitable for various unidirectional power applications. In particular, the design guide line is suggested to make the circuit design of the proposed rectifier easy and fast.

본 논문에서는 연료전지를 위한 독립형 3㎾급 인버터 시스템을 제안한다. 논문에 사용된 연료전지는 26V에서 46V의 가변적인 출력을 가지므로 220V의 교류전압으로 변환하기 위해서 높은 변압비를 가지는 DC/DC 컨버터로에서 400V의 DC링크 전압으로 승압되고 최종적으로 DC/AC 인버터를 통해서 220V의 교류전압으로 변환된다. 또한 DC/DC 컨버터의 직류출력전압을 저장하여 연료전지 초기구동과 제어기 전원에 공급함으로써 독립적인 시스템으로써 동작할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 각 부분별 시뮬레이션을 통해서 검증하였다.

This paper describes output characteristics analysis of outage and phase jump generator for microgrid. The outage and phase jump can be generated with 3-phase voltage disturbance generator. As soon as the outage occurs the STS(Solid Transfer Switch)s are switched off. At the beginning of the outage the PCS is required to limit the reverse current within the rated PCS output current. In case of phase jump the PCS output voltage phase should be adjusted. The generator output characteristics are analysed through simulation.

A heavy duty CNG engine has been developed using an existing 11 liter turdochanrged diesel engine. During the development emphasis was made to minimize the drawback of gaseous engine's fuel economy and durability. Wastegated turbocharger and air intercooler were adopted to compensate the power drop inherent to the lean burn gaseous engines. After a series of development work the 270 PS CNG engine, even without oxidation catalyst, is now able to meet the Korean city bus emission regulation in year 2000<br/>

A new power quality disturbance generator is proposed. The proposed scheme overcomes the problem of voltage drop of the conventional generator in normal mode. Therefore, the output voltage of the proposed generator is constant in normal mode and the efficiency of the series transformer is improved. The proposed generator has good feature of simple structure, cost effective implementation, high reliability and easy control. The usefulness of the scheme is verified through simulation and experiments.

This paper describes the current characteristics of outage generator for microgrid in outage mode operation. The outage can be generated with 3-phase voltage disturbance generator. The STS current becomes very huge during the first cycle of the outage, and the magnitude of the current depends on the time impedance, series transformer leakage inductance, interfacing reactor of PCS, and the maximum allowable PCS output current. The current and load voltage waveform are analysed through simulation.
