In this study, we was decided to enhance the performance standard of the endurance braking system is on method for analyzing and accident it is estimated failure of the brake when the tour bus to downhill travel, preventing accidents and reducing. Thus results of testing using the bus equipped with retarder brake and exhaust brake the road in korea, it was found that it is possible retarder brak prevent overheating of the braking from the retarder. Differences in the longer case appear larger distance downhill. Therefore, it is to be expected the effect of reducing accidents increases the retarder brake mounting rate, the value of the deceleration of the motor vehicle safety standards of the current also increases the retarder braking performance value.
