본 연구의 목적은 다양한 증상을 가진 자폐스펙트럼장애(autism spectrum disorders, ASD) 아동들의 모음 발성 시 나타나는 음향학적 변수들의 이상 유무를 측정하여 동일 연령대의 정상아동들의 음향학적 특성 과 비교해 보고자 하였다. 10 명의 ASD 진단을 받은 아동들과 동일 연령대의 10 명의 정상아동을 대상으로 평가하였다. multi-dimensional voice program(MDVP)과 real-time pitch(RTP) program을 사용하여 다양한 음성변수들을 비교분석하였다. 음향학적 변수들을 비교해본 결과, PFR, vFo, vAm이 대조군에 비해 ASD 군이 통게학적으로 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 반면, Fo, Fhi, Flo, Jitter, Shimmer, NHR, SPI, VTI와 같은 변수들은 대조군과 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. RTP 검사 결과, 모음 발성 시 ASD아동의 mean dB, dB range, min dB, max dB가 대조군에 비해 유의미하게 높게 나타났다(p<.05). 이러한 결과는 ASD 아동들의 발성기능이 구조적으로 정상적인 운동이 가능하지만 지속적인 발성 수행이 어렵고 일정한 운동패턴을 지속하는 일련의 발성유지 기능이 비정상적임을 보여주는 결과로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to measure the presence or absence of abnormalities in acoustic variables during vowel vocalization of autism spectrum disorders(ASD) children with various symptoms and compare them with the acoustic characteristics of normal children in the same age group. Ten children diagnosed with ASD and 10 normal children in the same age group were evaluated. Using multi-dimensional voice program(MDVP) and real-time pitch(RTP) program, various voice parameters were compared and analyzed. As a result of comparing the acoustic parameters, PFR, vFo and vAm were higher in the ASD group than in the control group (p<.05). On the other hand, variables such as Fo, Fhi, Flo, Jitter, Shimmer, NHR, SPI, and VTI showed no significant difference from the control group. As a result of the RTP test, mean dB, dB range, min dB, and max dB of ASD children during vowel vocalization were significantly higher than that of the control group (p<.05). These results are considered to be the result of showing that the vocal function of children with ASD is structurally capable of normal movement, but continuous vocal performance is difficult and a series of vocal maintenance functions that maintain a constant movement pattern are abnormal.
