For the case of solute only associate in binary mixture, equation for the number, i, of monomer, A_1, constituting the complex, A_i, was derived as i=(lnK+ΔE/RT)/(lnK·P+ΔE/RT) where, K is the equilibrium constant, ΔE the energy of association, P the orientation number of solut monomer, R the gas constant, T the absolute temperature. i's, the values calculated by the derived equation, was on the increase by the decrease of the temperature.

2성분용액(n-Hexane-Methylamine계)에서 용질만이 회합하는 경우, i-1번째 단계의 평형정수 K_(i-1,i)는 다음과 같이 주어진다. K_(i-1,i)=(y_(i-1)/P_1)e^(ΔE/RT) 여기서 P_1은 용질 단분자의 배향수, y_(i-1)는 P_i/P_(i-1)로 주어지는 상수, ΔE는 회합에너지이다. 계산된 평형상수는 보고된 값에 잘 일치하는 경향을 보였다. For the case of solute only associate in binary mixture(n-Hexane-Methylamine System), the equilibrium constant of i-1'th step, K_(i-1,i) is derived as followers, K_(i-1,i)=(y_(i-1)/P_1)e^(ΔE/RT) where, P_1; orientation number of solute monomer, y_(i-1)=P_i/P_(i-1), ΔE; association energy. The equilibrium constants, calculated values, are compared with the observed values, and found to be in a fairly good agreement.
Temporal Regulation of Distalless Expression by Mutations in BX-C and Polycomb genes

Homeotic genes are responsible for the specification of segment identity during embryonic development. The homeotic genes of Drosophila are clustered in the Antennapedia complex (ANT-C) and bithorax complex (BX-C). The expresion of Distaless (Dll) is initiated from late required for limb development in the Drosophila embryo. In this study we investigated the temporal regulation of Dll expression in the thoracic segments. Dll expression was expanded to the abdominal region in the loss-of-function mutation of the Ubx, abdA or AbdB gene. When Ubx, abdA or AbdB was Dll expresion was not observed in the thorax. However, when the BX-C genes were ectopically expresed at stage 1 of Polycomb mutant embryo, the repression of Dll expression by the ectopic homeotic gene products was restricted to the third thoracic segment. This result sugested that Dll expression patern was determined at embryonic stage 11 and that the ectopic expresion of BX-C genes after stage 1 did not affect Dll expression.
