The acquired knowledge through the everyday life was related to the prior knowledge. Meaningfulness of knowledge depends upon the learner's knowledge. Knowledge base consists of not only a set of facts, but also a rich set of connections between facts. We call wrong conception that we already got before the learning misconception or preconception. The misconception came form analogy, verbal meaning and knowledge structure. It could be overcome by elaborative interrogation, dispute text, and conception conflict but it often reformed after learning. It also impedes science learning. Elaboration can take the form of adding details to the information, clarifying an idea, explaining the relationship between two or more of the new concepts, making inferences, visualizing an image of some aspect of the new material, applying an analogy relating the new ideas to familiar things, or in some other way associating the new material with information already known of with past experience. Elaborative strategy facilitate the retrieve and inference of information. The most effective eleborative strategy is elaborative interrogation.
