근래에 우리나라에서는 急激한 生活環境의 變化로 인하여 學校生活에서도 身體活動量이 不足되기 쉽기때문에 低體力者나 肥滿者의 增加가 憂慮되고 있다. 이러한 傾向이 어느 정도가 될 것인가를 알기 위하여 曉星女子大學校 商業學科 學生 51名, 體育舞踊學科學生 104名을 對象으로 體力의 指標로서 V´O_2max/w를 肥滿의 指標로서 %Fat을 測定하고, 文獻을 通하여 얻은 아시아 地域의 女子集團과 比較·檢討하였다. (1) V´O_2max/w의 平均値는 商業科 學生이 34.0土4.1㎖/㎏/min, 體育舞踊學科學生이 37.5±6.7㎖/㎏/min로서 兩集團共히 平均値로서는 適切한 基準에 있다고 생각된다. (2) V´O_2max/w를 個人別로 살펴본다면 商業學校學生에 5名(9.8%) 體育舞踊 學科學生에 8名(7.6%) 程度의 不適正하다고 생각되는 者가 있다. (3) %Fat의 平均値는 商業學科學生이 19.4±2.3%, 體育·舞踊學科學生이 17.3±2.2%로서, 對照群과 比較한다면 상당히 낮은 水準에 있다. (4) %Fat를 個人別로 살펴보아도 肥滿이라고 判斷할 수 있는 者는 볼 수 없고, 오히려 體脂肪 減少傾向인 者를 볼 수 있다. Women Students' cardiorespiratory fitness was investigated with 51 women studets in the Department of Business Education in Hyosung Women's University, and the 104 in the Department of Physical Education and Dance in the same University as the above. V´O_2max/w was used as measurment of physical fitness, and %Fat of obesity, the results gained are following: (1) The average value of V´O_2max/w in the Department of Business Education was 33.0±4.1㎖/㎏/min, and that in the departmet of physical Education and Dance was 37.5±6.7㎖/㎏/min. The average value of both groups maintained desirable indices. (2) The members who are below the average value of V´O_2max/w were 5persons (9.8%) and 8(7.6%) in the former and latter departments respectively. (3) The average value of %Fat are 19.4±2.3% and 17.3±2.2% in both the departments respectively. These value are far below the average level of Asian group. (4) There was no one who could be considered as fat in the University. Rather those who are far below the average level of fat were found.
