(Background and Purpose) An office building provides working space and plays an important role in symbolism of a corporate. Especially, low level space of it significantly serves to enhance corporate image through publicization and effective marketing for corporate. The purpose of this study is to examine how design of low level space contributes to forming corporate image and suggest effective role and efficient space design of low level space, as the importance of office building is gradually increased. (Method) At first, concepts of office building low level as well as its public features according to historical changes are arranged through theoretical considerations. Moreover, change of corporate image depending on space image of office building low level and its interrelationship with space marketing factor are suggested. Therefore, steps of analysis and verification are undergone by selecting construction cases of conglomerates home and abroad, which are determined to have representations among all works created since 2000s. (Results) It can be found that low level space of office building is an effective measure of space marketing for enhancing corporate image. It is expected to promote program plan suitable for each corporate image and attempt to design new and positive space in the future.
