The most important factor when designing coastal and offshore concrete structures is durability. However, concrete in marine environment is exposed to physical and chemical deterioration of seawater, which might easily lead to low quality. The purpose of the present study is to understand advantages of adding ground solidificaton materials by comparatively analyze the seawater resistance of general concrete and environmental-friendly ground solidification materials.

In the S.C.W (soil cement wall) grouting solution, Cement grout ratio of 1 part Portland cement and 1part water is being used. However, Co<sub>₂</sub>and harmful heavy metals such as cr6+ are discharged in the process, causing a serious environmental issue. The purpose of the present study is therefore to substitute cement grout to inorganic binder and identify durability properties of ground solidification materials.

Since the current method of SCW cement milk pouring method uses one to one ratio of cement milk with OPC, thereare some problems such as drying shrinkage, increased cost, difficulty of controlling mix proportions for various conditionsof applied soil, and precipitation of Cr6+ due to the excessively used cement. Specifically, in aspect of sustainability issuesof cement manufacturing, the consumption of cement should be reduced. Hence, in this research, as a replacement ofcement for SCW method, blast furnace slag with sulfate or alkali as a stimulant, and expansive admixture were used. Byusing blast furnace slag as a hardening composite of SCW, there are many advantages such as free controllable mixproportions, rapid setting time with less mud occurrence, less cost with less energy for mixing, constant strengthdevelopment, and less precipitation of Cr6+. Regarding the alternative composites for SCW, in this research, durability andchloride resistance were evaluated. 본 연구에서는 시멘트 생산에 의한 CO2 배출과 이로 인한환경 부하를 감소시키기 위해 산업부산물인 고로슬래그 미분말을 활용하여 기존 SCW 공법에 사용되던 시멘트주입재를 친환경 무기결합재로 대체하여 모르타르를 제작하고 친환경 밀크주입재로써 적용이 가능한지를 파악하였다. 본 연구 결과 포틀랜드 시멘트를 사용하지 않은 비소성 시멘트를이용한 NSB 경화체가 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트 경화체와 비교해 내산성, 내해수성, 압축강도 등이 우수한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 만들어진 친환경 무기결합재 모르타르는 높은 내구성, 내화학성을 요구하는 SCW 공법과 같은 흙막이벽, 해양하부구조물 등의 지반재료용 결합재에 적용이 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
