        Project risk management is a management technique of identifying, analyzing and responding latent risk factors in project life cycle. To date, the importance of risk management has been overlooked in the Korean construction industry. The industry's practice of risk management are limited to and concentrated on the construction stage, which cannot propely assess potential risk factors during the project life cycle. Moreover, the research and systematic development efforts on the subject have been very few in the industry. The Purpose of this study is to improve current construction scheduling practices by providing as probabilistic scheduling model that can be utilized during early construction stage.

      • 건설공사의 예비비산정모형 구축에 관한 연구

        Recently construction industry involves more risks occurred with increasing in size and complexity of construction projects. Risk has been recognized as one of the most serious problems through the construction performance control. Successful performance of construction project depends on managing and estimating of exact construction cost, but most of contractors have failed to systematically identify and evaluate the effect of internal and external risk elements related with construction projects. Also they don't have any methods or procedures to quantify the impact of risk on project time and cost. Therefore this study suggests a contingency estimating model to quantify the risks by using influence diagram, decision tree, and Monte Carlo simulation. The adequacy of proposed model are verified through case study.

      • 건설공사 계약조건의 클레임 관련조항비교 연구

        In this study, with a purpose to establish the standard construction contract conditions, the FIDIC conditions of contract and ther corresponding legal systems from the various domestic laws and regulations, used as the construction conditions, were compared. The study shows problems such as inconsistence and atypicality between current provisions and FIDIC contract. The possibility of claim occurrence in Korea construction market is significant. Through a comparison of domestic and foreign construction contract, the study presents that domestic contracts don't have provisions about the procedure of submission, engineer's responsibility and authority, and effective procedure of claims. The study also presents techinical considerations under the FIDIC Contract by Employer and Contractor.

      • 하천식생이 흐름에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        최근 하천법의 개정으로 인하여 하천(하도)내에 식생의 도입이 가능해짐에 따라, 기존의 단순한 하천정비에서 벗어나, 천수공간의 조성 및 자연생태계 보호를 위한 기본적인 조건이 충족될 수 있는 근거가 마련되었다. 그러나 우리나라와 같이 토지의 이용률이 높은 지역에서는 하천의 식생은 하천단면을 충분히 확보하기 어려우므로 대단히 주의 깊게 시행되어야 한다. 따라서 하천의 식생이 홍수시 흐름에 미치는 영향 즉 수리학적 통수능의 감소뿐아니라, 이로 인한 조도의 증가 등에 대한 충분한 고찰과 연구가 선행되어야 한다. Recently by revision of River Act, It is possible to vegetate the trees and grass in stream channel and introduce the ecozone in stream. But the hydraulic of vegetated stream is very complex and not clear, vegetation in stream is very carefully determined. Therefore It is very important to study the effect of vegetation in stream, specially on floodplan. In this study, Manning's "n" is modified by vegetation condition which is the location, distribution and the kind of trees or grasses. Finally the trial-and-error method is proposed to calculate the flood level.

      • 강판으로 보강된 RC보의 휨 설계법에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the flexural behaviors and design method of R.C beams strengthened by steel plates. The behaviors of strengthened beams which were preloaded are compared with that of a beam which was not. The structural behaviors of strengthened beams are compared with codes of strength design method. According to the results, it is shown that strengthening of damaged beams is structurally efficient and that the performance of stiffness and strength of the strengthened beams are improved. The composite action between concrete and steel plates are preserved. And it is shown that the behavior of strengthened beams follow simple laws of mechanics and can be predicted by codes on strength design method.

      • TWO-PARAMETER 탄성지반위에 놓인 고차전단변형 역대칭 앵글-플라이 적층판의 정적 및 동적해석

        Static and Transient results for a anti-symmetric angle-ply laminated plate on two-parameter elastic foundations base on a higher-order shear deformation theory are presented. The effects on central deflection by plate thickness ratio, material modulus ratio, shear and winkler modulus of elastic foundations are investigated. To validate the derived equations, the obtained deflections of simply supported orthotropic plates are compared with those of Timoshenko. The information presented should be useful to composite-structure designers, to researchers seeking to obtain better correlation between theory and experiment and to numerical analysts in checking out their programs.

      • 열차주행으로 발생되는 인접지역의 지반진동 특성 분석

        In recent years, environmental problems such as noise and ground vibration induced by many kinds of construction and running trains have gained public interest because people desire and require better living life. Running trains are also one of sources of noise and vibrations which may effect adjacent house and have detrimental effects on other structures, sensitive devices and people. Especially domestic animals and fishes are heavily effected from only low levels of vibration. Consequently, the resonable methods for vibration-reducing is adopted. From this point of view, it is desirable to make preliminary analysis to correctly assess potential vibration problems which may arise at the running of train and to provide the valuable data to make an effective counter plan against such ground vibrations. This paper presents the results of measurements of ground vibration on the adjacent soil surface of railway which is running train, and supply valuable data for selection of a suitable vibration-reducing method. The levels of vibration and the attenuations with distance for ground vibrations are also considered.

      • 제방안전에 미치는 식생의 영향에 관한 이론적 검토

        하도내에는 많은 종류의 식생이 분포하며, 이들의 기능은 지금까지 대단히 부정적인 요소로 판단되었다. 즉 홍수시 홍수단면의 감소뿐 아니라 국부세굴에 의한 제방붕괴 등을 유발하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 반면 최근의 경향은 하천내의 식생이 하천이라는 자연생태계를 보호하고, 친수공간을 제공하며 나아가 하천제방의 안정에도 상당한 도움을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이는 하천제방에 위치한 나무의 경우 단단한 뿌리조직의 발달로 인하여 홍수시 소류력에 대한 저항력을 증가시키며, 제방사면의 밀도를 증가시키기 때문인 것으로 밝혀져 있다. There are many kind of trees and grasses in natural stream. Vegetation(trees) is negative effects on prevention flood and structure - bank, bridge. Vegetation in stream channel reduces the cross-section and hydraulic conductivity of channel and the flow velocity is enlarged and local scouring by tree is occured and destroyed the bank. or other structure in stream. But in recently research, the effect of tree is more positive. The tree near the channel provides shadow in water and prohibites the rising water temperature and provides more comfortable habitat to fish and the tree on the bank makes the soil density high and provides the resistance to scouring.

      • 탄소섬유쉬트 보강 철근콘크리트보의 휨 설계법에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the flexural behaviors and design method of R.C beams strengthened by carbon fiber sheets. The behaviors of strengthened beams which were preloaded are compared with that of a beam which was not preloaded. The structural behaviors of strengthened beams are compared with flexural theory and current codes. According to the results, it is shown that strengthening of damaged beams is structurally efficient and that the strength of the strengthened beams are improved. The composite action between concrete and CFS are preserved after strengthening regardness of preloading. And, it is shown that the behavior of strengthened beams follow simple laws of mechanics and can be predicted by codes.
