AN OPTIMAL ROBUST CONTROLLER DESIGN WITH OBSERVER

A new method for designing an optimal robust control system by using state plus state derivative feedback is presented in this paper. The system designed has low sensitivity for large parameter variations. For some states of system, a state observer is adopted to estimate the unmeasurable states, so that the implementation problem of control law with state plus state derivative is solved. An example is given, the simulation results show that the method suggested is effective.
IMPROVED PERTURBATION BOUND FOR ROBUST STABILITY IN LINEAR SYSTEM

The problem of robust stability of linear systems is investigated in time domain in this paper. For an asymptotically stable linear system, the maximum allowable perturbation bound (under which the system remains stable) is obtained by using Lyapunov method. A numerical example is given to show the perturbation bound obtained is better than ones in some literatures.
