Study on separation of nonferrous metal utilizing magneto-Archimedes method
Yusuke Ito,Yoko Akiyama 한국초전도.저온공학회 2019 한국초전도저온공학회논문지 Vol.21 No.2
In order to improve resource value, separation of nonferrous metals obtained from crushed materials of home appliances is required. In this study, we aimed to develop a continuous separation system by magneto-Archimedes method using magnetic fluid as a medium and the permanent magnet as a magnetic field source. Firstly, the separation conditions were examined in which only copper is settled and the difference in levitation positions between aluminum and other metals are over 1 cm. Based on the results, levitation experiment of each metal and separation experiment from the mixture of nonferrous metals were confirmed. The separation experiment showed that the continuous separation of copper and aluminum from a mixture of nonferrous metals is possible.

In this paper, we propose an educational system that involves a business game simulator and related curriculum. To develop these two elements, we examined the decision-making process related to business management and identified some significant skills thereby. In addition, we created an original simulator, named BizLator (http://bizlator.com), to help students develop these skills efficiently. Next, we developed a curriculum suitable for the simulator. We confirmed the effectiveness of the simulator and curriculum in a business-game-based class at Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo. On the basis of this, we compared our education system with a conventional system. This allowed us to identify advantages of and issues with our proposed system. Furthermore, we proposed a speech recognition support system named BizVoice in order to provide the teachers with more meaningful feedback, such as level of students’ understanding. Concretely, BizVocie fetches students’ speech of discussion during the game and converts the voice data to text data with speech recognition technology. Finally, teachers can grasp students’ parameters of understanding, and thereby, the students also can take more effective class using BizLator. We also confirmed the effectiveness of the system in the class of Aoyama Gakuin Universiry.

Optimum and Adjustable Damping Control of Grid-Connected Inverter with an LCL Filter
Toshiji Kato,Kaoru Inoue,Yusuke Akiyama,Koki Ohashi 전력전자학회 2015 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2015 No.6
This paper proposes a simple and general active damping method with good suppression effects by the optimal control principle with the state feedback approach. It may reduce number of sensors by estimations with a state observer. The proposed method can enhance the damping effects by adjustment of control parameters which correspond to a sort of virtual resistors. Its general design method and examples are described. The regulated current error transfer-functions at the oscillation frequency of the filter are suppressed effectively by validation through simulation by SABER and experiment by a DSP-based digital control system.
