Thermal models are important in the process of predicting the thermal characteristics and corresponding thermal error of multi-link high-speed precision presses (MLHSPPs) with an oil-lubrication system. Previous models only involved the effects of bearing stiffness, temperature change of bearings, flexibility of crank shaft on the heat generation power, while the influences of revolute clearance joint and flexibility of linkage are seldom considered, which inevitably reduces the accuracy of thermal analysis. To overcome this problem, dynamic models of flexible multi-link mechanisms (MLM) with clearance, lubrication, crankshaft-bearing system are constructed, the interaction forces between pin and bushing are obtained to calculate its heat generation power. Then, an improved model of MLHSPP with lubrication is proposed to analyze the temperature evolution and the thermal error between slider and work table at the position of LDP, by considering bearing stiffness, temperature change of bearings, flexibility of crank shaft, linkage, clearance, lubrication and thermal contact resistance all together. Compared with results from traditional models, the simulation data from this improved thermal model agree well with experiment, which proves the validity of the proposed model. Furthermore, the temperature rise and the thermal error of MLHSPP between slider and work table at the position of LDP under different input speeds, lubricating oil flux and contact angles of ball bearing were also studied.

Seveval Chinese and Japanese varieties with good characters were used in the breeding. After 5 years (15 generations), a pair of robust and high quality silkworm variety with NPV resistance was bred by means of a combination of crossing and pedigree selection complemented by the selection of NPV resistance. The variety was identified jointly nationwide in 2003 and 2004, and appraised by National Mulberry and Silkworm Appraising Committee. Results are as follows: its cocooning rate is over 93%, shell rate 23-25%, filament length 1200-1300 meters, reelability 75-88%, Length of non-broken cocoon filament 900-1100 meters, raw silk rate 17-19%, neatness 95-97 points, and cocoon crop, cocoon shell weight and raw silk weight per 10 000 larvae is higher than those of the control variety by 7-10%, 14-19% and 14-18%, respectively. The variety is not only robust, resistant to high temperature and NPV, easy to rear, uniform in hatching, molting and maturing, but also lays more eggs, and its fecundity is high. It is suitable to rear in the Yangtze River Basin, the Yellow River basin and the Pearl River basin of China.

Sulfated TiO2 nanoparticles were successfully immobilized on zeolite through improving hydrolysis-deposition method. Microstructure, crystallization, surface state and surface area of composite catalysts were characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR spectra, XPS and BET and the photocatalytic activity was evaluated by degradation of methyl orange under UV irradiation. We optimized these factors (SO4 -2) ions, calcination temperature and loading amount of sulfated TiO2) on photocatalytic activity and crystallization of composite photocatalysts. The results indicated that the SO4 -2 ) ions are successfully immobilized on the surface of TiO2, and sulfated TiO2/zeolite show the highest photocatalytic activity for methyl orange at the [SO4 -2]/[Ti4+] molar rate of 1:1, calcination temperature of 600 ℃ for 2 h, and sulfated TiO2 loading amount of 40%, respectively.
