Exploring the Significance and Interpretation of Animal Motifs in Rock Art: A Systematic Review

Rock art has been a subject of fascination for scholars, archaeologists, and enthusiasts for centuries due to its unique aesthetic qualities and cultural significance. This systematic review paper provides an overview of the significance of rock art motifs and their interpretations. Through a comprehensive analysis of the literature, we identified common rock art motifs and themes, as well as various interpretative approaches and theoretical frameworks used to understand the meanings and contexts of these motifs. The review also explores variations in interpretations across time and space and discusses the implications of these findings for rock art studies. The results reveal that rock art motifs and their interpretations are shaped by diverse cultural, social, and historical contexts, and that interdisciplinary and community-engaged research is needed to better understand, preserve, and appreciate this unique cultural heritage. The limitations and recommendations for future research are also discussed. This review contributes to our understanding of the cultural, symbolic, and aesthetic significance of rock art and highlights the importance of interdisciplinary perspectives and engagement with local communities in the study and conservation of rock art sites and cultural heritage.

With naphthalene as biomass tar model compound, partial oxidation reforming (with addition of O2) and dry reforming of biomass fuel gas were investigated over nickel-based monoliths at the same conditions. The results showed that both processes had excellent performance in upgrading biomass raw fuel gas. Above 99% of naphthalene was converted into synthesis gases (H2+CO). About 2.8 wt% of coke deposition was detected on the catalyst surface for dry reforming process at 750 oC during 108 h lifetime test. However, no coke deposition was detected for partial oxidation reforming process, which indicated that addition of O2 can effectively prohibit the coke formation. O2 can also increase the CH4 conversion and H2/CO ratio of the producer gas. The average conversion of CH4 in dry and partial oxidation reforming process was 92% and 95%, respectively. The average H2/CO ratio increased from 0.95 to 1.1 with the addition of O2, which was suitable to be used as synthesis gas for dimethyl ether (DME) synthesis.

<Abstract> Educational Methods Salim Idan Al-Tie HUFS Educational methods are becoming very important in the development and advancement era. They are aids for the professors and teachers throughout his educational journey as they make the students happy and more opened and willing to study without boredom. That is why professors and teachers should be keen to provide all the essential educational methods and it is not necessary to be expensive, but rather they can use environmental materials in order to enrich these methods and present them in a special and attractive way, but this doesn't mean that neglecting the technological side while we are in the development era. The professors and teachers should use these methods in their classes and teach their students how to use and deal with them as modernized methods. These professors should deal and present these modernized and renewable and not to just stick to one traditional method in presenting his educational methods but he should always work on improving them. This research came to the following important conclusions: 1- Increasing the efforts concerning how to work with the modern educational methods. 2- Having training courses and workshops for the professors and teachers in order to be always updated on the modern and new educational methods. 3- Effectively applying the educational system using computers in the universities and schools. 4- Applying the Internet in universities and schools in order to facilitate the educational system among students. Objective: To clarify the features of needling method in the Zhenjiu Jiayijing, the needling depth and needling treatment time were sorted out. Method: According to the analysis, we can identify the crucial factors of the needling features. Result: Compared with the needling related content of Huangdi Neijing(黃帝內經), the historical outline of the needling development could be found and the ancient acupuncturing process was reappeared with a historical perspective. This research will provide guidance for the literature research and clinical application. Conclusion: Zhenjiu Jiayijing, also an important and valuable literature, will provide more evidence or clues for depth and treatment time of needling, which will be helpful and meaningful in clinic.

In this paper we study the problem of three-dimensional lay-out optimization on the simplied rotating vessel of satellite. The layoutoptimization model with behavioral constraints is established and someeective and convenient conditions of performance optimization are pre-sented. Moreover, we prove that the performance objective function islocally Lipschitz continuous and the results on the relations between thelocal optimal solution and the global optimal solution are derived.
Time-optimal and Smooth Trajectory Planning for Robot Manipulators

This paper presents a practical time-optimal and smooth trajectory planning algorithm and then appliesit to robot manipulators. The proposed algorithm uses the time-optimal theory based on the dynamics model toplan the robot’s motion trajectory, constructs the trajectory optimization model under the constraints of the geometric path and joint torque, and dynamically selects the optimal trajectory parameters during the solving process toprominently improve the robot’s motion speed. Moreover, the proposed algorithm utilizes the input shaping algorithm instead of the jerk constraint in the trajectory optimization model to achieve a smooth trajectory. The inputshaping of trajectory parameters during postprocessing not only suppresses the residual vibration of the robot butalso takes the signal delay caused by traditional input shaping into account. The combination of these algorithmsmakes the proposed time-optimal and smooth trajectory planning algorithm ensure absolute time optimality andachieve a smooth trajectory. The results of an experiment on a six-degree-of-freedom industrial robot indicate thevalidity of the proposed algorithm.
A New Fundamental and Numerical Method for the Fractional Partial Differential Equations

Fractional order has the characteristics of memory and non-locality and it is different with integer order. Therefore, fractional differential equations can be used to describe some abnormal natural phenomena. At the same time, how to solve the fractional order partial differential equation and differential equations with fractional order has become a very important research field. Besides analytic solution, it is also important to investigate the numerical methods for fractional differential equations. In the paper, fundamental solution of the time fractional partial differential equation has been deduced, which is derived by Furrier transform and Laplace transform. According to the simulation, there is little difference between numerical solution and the exact solution when the solution is the time variable function. The results show the validity of the method.

In this study, changes in the physicochemical properties and functional components of uncooked foods, including carrots, cabbage, shiitake (Lentinus edodes) and white button (Agaricus bisporus) mushrooms, sea mustard, and laver treated with electrolyzed water were investigated. No changes were observed in the primary compositions of any of the materials that were hot air- or freeze-dried after being treated with electrolyzed water. The lightness (L), redness (a), and yellowness (b) values of the carrots, shiitake, and laver were not affected by drying, while changes did occur in the cabbage (L-, a-, and b-values), mushrooms (a-value), and sea mustard (b-value) specimens that were hot air- or freeze-dried following the treatments with electrolyzed water. The dietary fiber contents of all the materials increased when they were hot air-dried. Vitamin C content decreased when the samples were treated with alkalic electrolyzed water. No changes occurred in the lectin, β-carotene, or total phenolic compound contents after the electrolyzed water treatments, suggesting that electrolyzed water could be used effectively as a pasteurization step for uncooked carrots, cabbage, shiitake and white button mushrooms, sea mustard, and laver.
