A multicast tunneling system for IP-based Control Systems
Takanori Shimomura,Kazunori Miyazawa 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8
It is expected that the Internet technologies and protocols will be introduced into field networks that connectcontrollers and field devices such as sensors, actuators, and so on. Foundation Fieldbus High Speed Ethernet (FF-HSE) is one of the control protocols which built on the Internet Protocol (IP). We discuss the use of FF-HSE in the environment that the field network is composed of multiple segments. The control protocols uses IP multicast because they originate from the bus architecture. However, there are problems of the scalability in existing technology. Wepropose a multicast packet tunneling system MMT (multicast mediator tunnel) against such problems.
Giant Magnetoresistance and Field-induced Phase Transitions in Tb7Rh3 Single Crystal
Takanori Tsutaoka,Koji Shimomura,Nikolai V. Baranov,Alexey V. Proshkin,Evgeny G. Gerasimov,Pavel B. Terentev 한국물리학회 2013 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.63 No.3
High-field magnetization and magnetoresistance measurements have been performed to investigatethe field-induced magnetic phase transitions in Tb7Rh3 single crystals. Metamagnetic transitionswere observed along the a-, b- and c-axes of the hexagonal crystal lattice in the three magneticstates at temperatures below the N´eel temperature TN = 91 K; magnetic field H - temperatureT phase diagrams were constructed for b- and c- axes. At temperatures below TN, the magneticstructure transformations under application of a magnetic field along the b-axis are observed to beaccompanied by the giant magnetoresistance effect (|Δρ/ρ| up to 65%). Magnetization curves measuredat temperatures above TN show inflection points, which may be indicative of phase transitionswithin regions with an antiferromagnetic short-range order persisting in a paramagnetic matrix.
Deuteration-induced Ferromagnetic Metallic Properties in R7Rh3Dx (R = Tb, Dy)
Koji Shimomura,Takanori Tsutaoka,Stanislaw M. Filipek,Ryutaro Sato 한국물리학회 2013 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.63 No.3
The magnetic and the electrical properties of the R7Rh3 deuterides Tb7Rh3D27 and Dy7Rh3D27have been studied by measuring the magnetization, magnetic susceptibility and electrical resistivity. Tb7Rh3D27 and Dy7Rh3D27 show a ferromagnetic property below TC = 62 K and 23.5 K, respectively;a metallic state is induced by deuteration. The deuteration-induced magnetic transitionin these compounds can be realized by a competition between the inter- and intra-layer exchangeinteractions. The deuteration-induced semimetal to metal transition can be attributed to a modifi-cation of the energy band structure produced by a lattice expansion due to protons located in theinterstitial positions and/or additional electrons originating from the dissociation of deuterium.
Software-Based Internet Protocol Offload Engine for Low-End Field Devices
Shuji Kuwahara,Takanori Shimomura,Yoshio Yoshida 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8
Internet Protocol (IP) technology can be employed in field networks for process automation. However,low-end CPUs, which are generally used for operating field devices, require excessive computational power for processing IP and its security protocols such as IPsec. We propose a software-based Protocol Offload Engine (POE) approach, by which only the bottleneck in IP stacks is implemented as hardware and the rest is implemented as software on an alternative CPU. The experimental result shows that the software-based POE achieves the IP and IPsec performance required for use in field devices with a macrocycle of a few hundred milliseconds. The software-based POE also eliminates the overhead of the key exchange protocol processing from a host CPU.
Magnetic Properties of a Nd7Pd3 Single Crystal
Takuya Matsushita,Koji Shimomura,Takanori Tsutaoka 한국물리학회 2013 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.63 No.3
Magnetization, magnetic susceptibility and electrical resistivity measurements have been carriedout for Nd7Pd3 single crystals having the Fe7Th3-type hexagonal structure with the space groupP63mc. Nd7Pd3 possesses an antiferromagnetic (AF) state at temperatures below TN = 39 K and aferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic one at temperatures below TC = 34 K. Another magnetic transitionor a magnetic structure change was found at Tt = 15.7 K. In the ferromagnetic state, Nd7Pd3 hasa relatively large magnetic anisotropy; the easy magnetization direction is the a-axis, and hard oneis the c-axis. Metamagnetic transitions were observed in the AF state along the c-axis and in thec-plane; the critical field HC increases with increasing temperature. The magnetization curve hasan inflection point even in the paramagnetic state at 45 K in the c-plane, indicating a field-inducedtransition in the region having antiferromagnetic short-range order.
