This study was carried out to evaluate the influence of addition of a pozzolanic admixtures(fly ash and silica fume, a blast furnace slag) on the concrete permeability. The main experimental variables were the water-cementitious material ratios, the types and amount of admixtures, and the curing time. And tests have been carried out on concrete containing pozzolanic admixtures to measure their permeability coefficient using water and oxygen, chloride ion, and compressive strength, and the porosity and pore size distributions by mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP). The results show that the concrete containing pozzolanic admixtures exhibited lower permeability coefficient than the plain concrete. The significant reduction in permeability(water and oxygen, chloride ion) of concrete with pozzolans due to formation of a discontinuous macro-pore system which inhibits flow. It is shown that there is higher relationship between permeability and parameters of pore structure(such as porosity and pore size distribution), and permeability and compressive strength, and water or oxygen permeability and chloride ion permeability(charge passed) based on electrical conductance.

Waste lime is place of business general waste that is happened by product fertilizer and chemical factory etc. This paper is to investigate the properties of cement composites containing high volume waste lime and fly ash to grope the practical use way of waste lime as the construction material. Therefore, consider CaO and CaCl₂ that much amounts were contained to waste lime in this research by main factor that influence in pozzolan reaction of fly ash and controlled mix. Experiment factors of this research was the ratio of waste lime and fly ash, the addition amount of cement and aggregate-binder ratio, water-binder ratio, curing temperature. In the results of test, the compressive strength of cement hardness is decreased according as increased the addition amount of waste lime, but the addition amount of waste lime appeared comparatively high by 200kgf/㎠(age 3day) and 343kgf/㎠(age 90day) to that is 40%. Much included Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> in waste lime are contributing in pozzolan reaction of fly ash. Also, It is found that pozzolan reaction of fly ash activated by much included CaCl₂ in waste lime.

Antifungal agents are used to impart antibacterial or bactericidal properties to commodities and various articles used in industries and can be classified into two broad groups i.e organic and inorganic. Inorganic antifungal agents comprise of Ag, Zn, or Cu, etc. These elements tend to exhibit high level of antifungal activities, non-uniform dispersion in substrates, and have poor properties in expensive and cheap adhesiveness. In this study, the organic antifungal agent was used for the purpose of investigating the antifungal activity of antifungal agent activated-cement mortar (AACM) on the aspergilus niger of various fungus which can be easily discovered in the interiors and exteriors of buildings. In addition, an experiment on the basic physical properties of AACM such as compressive and flexural strength was carried out. The conclusion of this investigation revealed that a dosage increase of antifungal agent exhibits a high inhibitory effect on the aspergilus niger, and although there is a slight decrease in the strength of AACM, the strength of AACM was almost equal to that of inactivated cement mortar.
