      • Blind Color Image Fusion Based on the Optimal Multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization

Lincheng Shen,Yifeng Niu 보안공학연구지원센터 2007 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.2 No.2

The particle swarm optimization (PSO) is a new swarm intelligence technique inspired by social behavior of bird flocking. In this paper, the optimal multi-objective particle swarm optimization (OMOPSO) is presented. Since the parameters determine the optimization performance of the algorithm, the uniform design is introduced to obtain the optimal combination of the parameters. Additionally, a new crowding operator is used to improve the distribution of nondominated solutions, and ε-dominance is used to fix the size of the set of final solutions. OMOPSO is applied to optimize the parameters of blind color image fusion. First the model of blind color image fusion in YUV color space is established, and then the proper evaluation metrics without the reference image are given, in which a new metrics of conditional mutual information is proposed. Experimental results indicate that the method of blind color image fusion based on OMOPSO realizes the Pareto optimal blind color image fusion.

Average Consensus Seeking of High-order Continuous-time Multi-agent Systems with Multiple Time-varying Communication Delays

        Qingjie Zhang,Yifeng Niu,Lin Wang,Lincheng Shen,Huayong Zhu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2011 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.9 No.6

The average consensus problem of high-order multi-agent systems with multiple time-varying communication delays is investigated in this paper. By using the idea of state decomposition, the condition for guaranteeing average consensus is converted into verifying the stability of zero equi-librium of disagreement system. Considering multiple time-varying communication delays, Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach in time-domain is employed to analyze the stability of zero equilibrium. With the help of Free-weighting Matrices (FWM) approach, the tolerant upper bounds on communication delays can be obtained through solving feasible linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Delay-dependent stability criteria for both strongly-connected fixed and switching topologies are provided in the main results. Further, the conclusion is extended to the case of jointly-connected switching topologies. Numerical examples and simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and the benefit on reducing conservativeness of the proposed method.

Effect of Phosphodiesterase-5 Inhibitors on the Treatment of Male Infertility: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

        Dong Liang,Zhang Xiaojin,Yan Xuhong,Shen Yifeng,Li Yulin,Yu Xujun 대한남성과학회 2021 The World Journal of Men's Health Vol.39 No.4

Purpose: Male infertility is a worldwide problem with limitations in the treatment. Phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (PDE5is) is the first choice for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, more and more studies show that it has a certain effect on male infertility in recent years. But there was currently no high quality of systematic review to evaluate the effects of PDE5is on semen quality. Materials and Methods: We retrieved the electronic databases of MEDLINE, PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, etc. Related randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were collected and selected up to May 20, 2020. We have searched literature with terms “male infertility”, “phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors”, “PDE5i”, “Tadalafil”, “Sildenafil”, “Vardenafil”, “Udenafil”, “Avanafil”, “semen”, and “sperm”. Mean value and its standard deviation were used to perform quantitative analysis. All statistical analyses were conducted by RevMan 5.3 and Stata software. Results: There were a total of 1,121 participants in the nine included studies. There was a statistically significant improvement treated with PDE5is compared with sham therapy, which including sperm concentration (mean difference [MD]=1.96, 95% confidence interval [CI]=1.70–2.21, p<0.001; MD=3.22, 95% CI=1.96–4.48, p<0.001), straight progressive motility (%) Grade A (MD=3.71, 95% CI=2.21–5.20, p<0.001), sperm motility (MD=8.09, 95% CI=7.83–8.36, p<0.001), morphologically normal spermatozoa (%) (MD=0.67, 95% CI=0.20–1.15, p=0.005; MD=1.27, 95% CI=0.02–2.52, p=0.05), sperm abnormalities (%) (MD=-0.64, 95% CI=-0.81–-0.47, p<0.001), and progressive motile sperm (MD=5.34, 95% CI=3.87–6.81, p<0.001). Conclusions: In this meta-analysis of nine RCTs, treatment with PDE5is could improve some indicators of male sperm.

Pharmacokinetics and Safety of Duloxetine Enteric-coated Tablets in Chinese Healthy Volunteers: A Randomized, Open-label, Single- and Multiple-dose Study

        Huafang Li,Ting Li,Yan Li,Yifeng Shen 대한정신약물학회 2013 CLINICAL PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY AND NEUROSCIENCE Vol.11 No.1

Objective: Duloxetine hydrochloride is a selective serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. It is approved for effective treatment for major depressive disorder. The pharmacokinetics (PK) of duloxetine has been studied, but few pharmacokinetics properties in Chinese subjects are available. This study explored the dose proportionality and determined duloxetine levels in human plasma by comparing the PK properties after administration of single or multiple doses in healthy volunteers. Methods: Thirty-six subjects were divided randomly into three groups and received a single dose of 15, 30, or 60 mg duloxetine. Those who received 30 mg continued on to the multiple-dose phase and received 30 mg daily for 7 days. Liquid chromatography/mass spectroscopy was applied to determine concentrations. The PK properties were calculated and included maximum plasma concentration (Cmax), time when maximum plasma concentration was reached (Tmax), time when half-maximum plasma concentration was reached (t1/2), area under the plasma concentration-time curve from time zero to the last measurable concentration (AUC0–t), mean concentration levels (AUC0-∞), and apparent total clearance of the drug from plasma after oral administration (CL/F). Results: The standard calibration curve was linear in the concentration range 0.11–112 ng/mL (r>0.992). Linear PK properties were found at doses of 15–60 mg. The Cmax and AUC were proportional to dose, but the Tmax and t1/2 did not increase with increasing dose. Conclusion: No significant differences in the PK parameters were found among the three groups during the single-dose phase. The AUC and Cmax were greater in the multiple-dose phase, indicating duloxetine accumulation following multiple-dose administration.
