        Aims: Recently minimal invasive approach has been widely recommend in a variety of pancreatic pathologies. Potential benefit of laparoscopic approach in pancreatic surgery include staging and palliation for malignant tumours, pancreatic pseudocysts management, and resection of pancreatic pathologies. Minimal invasive surgery offer the advantage of attenuated surgical trauma, faster recovery, reduced post-operative pain, decrease incidence of wound infection, and improved cosmetic outcome. Furthermore, Long-term benefits may include a decreased incidence of incisional hernias and adhesive small bowel obstruction. In case of tumor staging, laparoscopic approach allows identification of metastasis avoiding unnecessary laparotomy. Finally, the cost-effectiveness of MIS in pancreatic surgery is well recognized. The laparoscopic technique in distal pancreatectomy were extensively discussed in the literature, however, in large pathology and difficult anatomy, the procedure could be very challenging to avoid conversion to open, decrease or prevent bleeding and pancreatic leak, and to achieve safe and complete oncological resection Methods: The author present a real case video of laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy and showing two modifications to achieve successful outcome, namely the use of three-dimensional camera and an innovative staple line reinforcement technique Results: Video of the case will be presented. Conclusions: 3D camera improve the quality of image and anatomy as a consequence and lower the conversion. staple line reinforcent is a cost-effective way of lowering intraoperative and post operative bleeding
