Although noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is the most prevalent occupational disease in Korea, only 10% of the diagnosed cases are compensated. Old (1989-94) and current diagnostic criteria, criteria for workers' compensation of NIHL in Korea, compensation formulas of American Medical Association/American association of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology (AMA/AAOO), the Committee on Hearing, Bio-Acoustics, Biomechanics (CHABA), American Academy of Otolaryngology (AAO) recommendation were compared. Each criterion was applied on the audiomety data of 4044 workers (8023 ears), who had received the second line screening test of Special Periodic Health Examination Program for noise-exposed workers during 1991-2. First, the resulting proportions of NIHL cases by employing each criterion were compared and strength of agreement was measured using kappa value. Temporary Threshold Shift (TTS) was corrected by noise free interval, and the reduction ratio of NIHL cases was calculated. Theoretical progression model of NIHL was reconstructed from previous studies on the natural course of NIHL to evaluate the change of diagnosis result of each criterion in the model. The kappa value between old and current criteria was 0.19, 0.55 for current criteria and workers' com. criteria, ranging from 0.08 to 0.78, highest coincidence was observed between current criteria and CHABA formula. The current criteria produce most similar results with CHABA formula. If TTS is corrected for NFI, there is about 14% reduction of NIHL cases. The results of applying on NIHL progression model divided the formulas roughly into 3 groups, of which compensation criteria was the most, old criteria and AAO the least conservative. In conclusion, the result of 4 ㎑ audiometry should be excluded in evaluation of hearing level and a new hearing conservation program should be set out. Current diagnostic criteria has an ambiguity in that managerial concept for prevention and purpose of compensation is mixed up. The current diagnostic criteria and compensation criteria could be incorporated into a new formula which is based on the state of the art test for estimating everyday hearing disability.
분산 환경상의 망 관리를 위한 요구 브로커 설계 및 구현

전통적인 망 관리 환경에서, 대부분의 망 관리 응용들은 단지 SNMP만을 지원하여왔다. 그러나, 이러한 망 관리 환경은 CMIP 및 각종 Proprietary 프로토콜과 같은 서로 상이한 관리 프로토콜을 지원하는 환경에서는 전반적인 분산 망 관리에 많은 어려움을 파생시켰다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 분산 망 관리 환경을 설계 및 구현함으로써 해결하였다. 본 분산 망 관리 환경에서 관리 응용들은 서로 상이한 프로토콜 프로그램밍 인터페이스로 작성될 수 있으며, 각각 관리 프로토콜에 해당하는 대리자를 이용할 수 있다. 추가적으로, 관리 응용들의 요구 및 사건 보고 메시지는 본 환경에서 동시에 처리 될 수 있기 때문에, 하나 이상의 관리 응용들이 동시에 수행될 수 있다. In traditional network management, most of the network management applications have supported only SNMP, but that has caused some difficulties in managing the whole distributed network being used different management protocols such as CMIP and proprietary protocols. In this paper, a distributed network management environment was designed and implemented to solve these problems. In the environment management applications can be written in protocol-independent programming interface, and can use the corresponding management protocols to each agents. In addition, requests from management applications and event report messages are concurrently processed in the environment so that one or more management applications can be executed simultaneously.
가속도 크기 변수에 따른 수직진동에 대한 인지수준 고찰

Occupants induced floor vertical vibrations may cause other occupants annoyance and lead to social loss. To help control such floor vibrations, several criteria have been developed mostly based on human perception tests and floor vibration tests. Floor vibration is evaluated by comparison with criteria and vibration parameters of subject floor, such as frequency, damping ratio, acceleration value, vibration duration time and occurrence frequency. Three acceleration value parameters are used in criteria; peak acceleration, rms acceleration and VDV, when a floor vibration serviceability is evaluated. Meanwhile rms acceleration and peak acceleration are adopted as vibration limit value in criteria and researches of human perception for vibration. Occupants induced floor vibration is transient rather than steady state. However, rms acceleration is not reliable parameter for evaluating transient vibration. The objective of this study is to investigate the characters of human perception level according to acceleration value parameters for vibration induced by heel impacts and walking activities.
