Finite-time Stabilization with Output-constraints of A Class of Highorder Nonlinear Systems

In this paper, the finite-time stabilization with output-constraint is investigated for a class of high-order nonlinear systems with the powers of positive odd rational numbers by constructing a Barrier Lyapunov function. First, sufficient conditions on characterizing the nonlinear functions of the considered systems are derived. Then, based on the technique of adding one power integrator, the global finite-time stabilizers of individual subsystems are systematically constructed to guarantee global finite-time stability with output constraints of the closed-loop nonlinear system. Finally, an example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed result.

This paper investigates the reduced-order switched observers for switched linear systems with unknown inputs when none subsystems are strongly detectable under dwell time switching. A time-varying disturbancedecoupling state coordinate transformation is first utilized to decouples the unknown input from a subset of the transformed state coordinates. Secondly, a linear coordinate transformation is constructed to decompose the system state into directly available state component parts and non-direct available state component parts. The existence conditions of the reduced-order switched observers are derived by both restricting the upper bounds and the lower bounds of dwell time, decreasing the energy of switched systems at switching times, and confining the growth of subsystems’ Lyapunov functions, and the reduced-order switched observers are constructed. Stability analysis of switched error dynamics is also presented. Then, the proposed reduced-order switched observers asymptotically converges to the state under the designed dwell time switching signal. Finally, an example confirms the effectiveness of the proposed method.
Prescribed-time Stabilization for a Class of Nonlinear Systems with Control Singularities

This paper studies the prescribed-time stabilization of a class of nonlinear systems with control singularities. The settling time is independent of not only the design parameters but also the initial conditions, and can be set according to per our will. By using backstepping, we simultaneously construct a control Lyapunov function (CLF) with singularity and a control law to prescribed-time stabilize the equilibrium point of the studied system in settling time, and avoid all trajectories from crossing the control singularity set. Further, the feasibility region is consistent with the attraction region, and the attraction region is also maximized. That is, the positive invariance condition is achieved. Finally, two examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of our proposed method.
Prescribed-time Stabilization with Time-varying Output Constraints for Switched Nonlinear Systems

This paper studies the problem of the prescribed-time stabilization for a class of switched nonlinear systems with time-varying output constraints. Firstly, a new coordinate design of the output enables the constraints to be incorporated into the original system. Secondly, a fractional term will be played an essential role in achieving prescribed-time stabilization. Then, based on the method of Barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) and backstepping, a recursive algorithm is developed to construct a controller to achieve the prescribed-time stabilization with timevarying output constraints. Finally, two examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed results.

In order to improve the estimation accuracy of the state information and save the computing time for fractional-order systems containing correlated and uncorrelated process and measurement noises, this paper investigates fractional-order extended Kalman filters for continuous-time nonlinear fractional-order systems using the method of fractional-order average derivative. Compared with Grünwald-Letnikov difference, the estimation accuracy is improved via the fractional-order average derivative method. Meanwhile, the computing time in the stateestimation is saved. To deal with the correlated and uncorrelated process and measurement noises, two kinds of extended Kalman filters for nonlinear fractional-order systems are given. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed fractional-order extended Kalman filters based on fractional-order average derivative is validated by two examples.

To improve the accuracy of feature representation and abnormal condition identification, a new abnormal condition identification method, named integrating multiple binary neural networks based on condition-relevantinformation (CRI-MBNN), is presented for the electro-fused magnesia smelting process in this study. Firstly, thefeatures related to each specific abnormal condition, which is named condition-relevant information (CRI), are analyzed and extracted from the multi-source heterogeneous information with the help of limited and consensus domainknowledge. Then, the CRI is fused at the feature-level to provide a comprehensive representation of each abnormalcondition. Furthermore, for each abnormal condition, a binary neural network (BNN) is established based on thefused feature. They are further integrated according to the frequency of each condition in the actual productionprocess to form the final abnormal condition identification network, i.e., CRI-MBNN. Finally, the effectiveness andfeasibility of the proposed CRI-MBNN are verified by the electro-fused magnesia smelting process.
