Electrification of transportation has become an essential trend that is actively supported by environmentalists, scientists, and governors. Also, it makes a special attention from energy sector by creating an opportunity for “vehicle-to-grid” (V2G) power. The V2G coordination is expected to show a win-win environment for both vehicle owner and power utility. Each V2G transaction must be a solution for a multi-variable function of vehicle’s status, generation information, load demand, and pricing data. The flexibility and intelligence of V2G operation require a well understanding of the interconnection between vehicle and power grid as a whole. This paper analyzes these variations of above factors and their roles in V2G formation.
