Identification of Hammerstein Model with VRFT in the virtual two-degree of freedom control system

In this paper, we provide one of the identification methods of a system with Hammerstein typed non-linearity in the closed loop. The basic strategy proposed here is to use the controller parameter tuning scheme in the virtual two-degree of freedom control structure. The proposed method enables us to obtain the parameters of a Hammerstein typed nonlinear system with one-shot experiment and an off-line optimization. In order to validity of our proposed method, we show a simple numerical example.
The parameterization of stabilizing canonical controllers

This paper concerns with one of the topics on the interconnections of dynamical systems in a behavioral framework. Here, we provide the parameterization of canonical controllers those stabilize the set of the (manifest) trajectories via the partial interconnection. Particularly, we focus on the case in which the variable to be controlled is observable from the variable to be interconnected. We also discuss the relationship with the corrventional Youla-kucera parameterization of stabilizing controllers.

<P>Abstract. Plasmodium vivax msp1p, a paralog of the candidate vaccine antigen P. vivax merozoite surface protein 1, possesses a signal peptide at its N-terminus and two epidermal growth factor-like domains at its C-terminus with a glycosylphosphatidylinositol attachment site. The msp1p gene locus may have originated by a duplication of the msp1 gene locus in a common ancestor of the analyzed Plasmodium species and lost from P. yoelii, P. berghei, and P. falciparum during their evolutionary history. Full-length sequences of the msp1p gene were generally highly conserved; they had a few amino acid substitutions, one highly polymorphic E/Q-rich region, and a single-to-triple hepta-peptide repeat motif. Twenty-one distinguishable allelic types (A1-A21) of the E/Q-rich region were identified from worldwide isolates. Among them, four types were detected in isolates from South Korea. The length polymorphism of the E/Q-rich region might be useful as a genetic marker for population structure studies in malaria-endemic areas.</P>

A new configuration of ILQ servo system based on dynamic output feedback is presented together with its output feedback gain matrices by proper choice of a certain design parameter of the ILQ design method. Noticing its same feedback structure as that of I-PD servo system for the particular case of SISO systems with relative order two, this renewed ILQ design method is then applied to FRIT based I-PD controller tuning for a linear second order SISO system with time delay. A numerical design example is also shown to verify the usefulness of this tuning method.

The characteristics of neutral beam driven current have been investigated in helical devices, which do not need ohmic current to produce a magnetic field configuration. The neutral beam current drive experiments have been performed in a wide range of Zb/Zeff in LHD and CHS. The Z dependence of neutral beam driven current in the region of Zb/Zeff < 1 obtained by neon discharges in LHD agrees with the Ohkawa model. On the other hand, the current driven by neon beam injection in CHS cannot be explained by the Ohkawa model.
