The correct judgment of the stage at which a corporation stays is the premise of empirical research on the issue of a corporation in the life cycle perspective, this paper has put forward two methods, by which the evolutionary model of our national corporate competitiveness at different stage of life cycle has been verified with empirical research, one is acquired directly from questionare, the other is the employ of fuzzy-integrated judgment through setting up relative subjects. This has in one hand. proved the feasibility of different life cycle judgment approach adopted by this paper, and on the other hand, verified the reliability of conduction made by this paper on the evolutionary model of our national corporate competitiveness. The result reveals that the life cycle of our national corporations can all be assessed by these two methods. By these two methods, this paper has put forward the evolutionary model of our national corporate competitiveness at different stage of life cycle, which is of significant referential importance of the establishment of corporate competitive strategy

Based on the research of small and medium-sized enterprises’ life cycle, plus the data and information that acquired from cancelled small and medium ?sized enterprises in five metropolises including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Changesh, Zhengzhou and Chengdu during period 200-2007, the relationship between the life cycle of small and medium-sized enterprises in the five metropolises and their external environment is evaluated and comparatively analyzed. The results shows that the external environment has positive impact on SMEs’ lifecycle, and economic environment, technological environment as well as human resources environment have prominent influences on SEMs’ lifecycle, but the influences of political environment, socioculture environment and natural resources environment on SEMs’ lifecycle are inconspicuous Further more, the results above is analyzed and the countermeasures on how to prolong the llife cycle of small and medium-sized enterprise in our country from the perspectives of both government and corporation are proposed
