• Study on Multi-Source Localization of Wireless Sensor Network Based on Quantitative Information

Yunting Liu,Hui Guo,Yuanwei Jing,Siying Zhang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.9 No.4

Against the problem that quantitative localization is concentrated on single-source localization, this paper studies the quantitative multi-source localization methods based on wireless sensor network. Firstly, the log-quantization strategy which reflects the characteristics of acoustic source is proposed. The sensor node transmits the quantized information to base station according to the measurements and log-quantization strategy. Secondly the based station estimates the location of the sources according to the proposed method termed as multiple source localization based on possibilistic C means clustering algorithm. Finally the efficient of the proposed method is verified by the simulation under different parameters. The simulation results show that the proposed method could accurately estimate the location of source. And the proposed method is robust to the packet loss rate.

Detection and molecular characteristics of bovine rotavirus A in dairy calves in China

        Xiaoying Liu,Nan Yan,Hua Yue,Yuanwei Wang,Bin Zhang,Cheng Tang 대한수의학회 2021 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.22 No.5

Background: Bovine group A rotavirus (BoRVA) is a major cause of severe gastroenteritis in newborn dairy calves. Only one study has investigated the G and P genotypes among dairy calves in a few regions of China, which were G6 and P[5]. Therefore, data on the prevalence and molecular characteristics of BoRVA in dairy calves in China remains limited. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence and molecular characteristics of BoRVA in dairy calves in China. Methods: 269 dairy calves diarrheic samples from 23 farms in six provinces in China were collected to detect BoRVA using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Results: 71% of samples were determined to be BoRVA-positive. Two G genotypes (G6, G10) and two P genotypes (P[1], P[5]) were identified, and G6P[1] BoRVA was the predominant strain. Moreover, the VP7 and VP4 gene sequences of these dairy calf BoRVA strains revealed abundant genetic diversity. Interestingly, eight out of 17 complete G6 VP7 sequences were clustered into G6 lineage VI and analysis showed the strains were closely related to Chinese yak BoRVA strains. Conclusions: The results of this study show that BoRVA circulates widely among dairy calves in China, and the dominant genotype in circulation is G6P[1], first report on molecular characteristics of complete P[5] VP4 genes in chinese dairy calves. These results will help us to further understand the prevalence and genetic evolution of BoRVA among dairy calves in China and, thus, prevent the disease more effectively.

      • Joint Radio and Computational Resource Allocation for NOMA-Based Mobile Edge Computing in Heterogeneous Networks

        Song, Zhengyu,Liu, Yuanwei,Sun, Xin IEEE 2018 IEEE COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS Vol.22 No.12

A joint radio and computational resource allocation problem is investigated for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based mobile edge computing (MEC) in heterogeneous networks (HetNets). The aim is to minimize the energy consumption of all users under the task execution latency constraint with partial task offloading. Due to the non-convexity of the formulated problem, we propose an iterative algorithm by decomposing the optimization problem into two subproblems, where the computational resource allocation is a convex optimization problem, and the uplink power allocation is solved by the sequential convex programming. Simulation results reveal that the partial offloading is superior to local computing-only and full offloading-only and NOMA-based MEC outperforms the orthogonal multiple access-based MEC in HetNets.

Robust Control for a Class of T-S Fuzzy Systems with Interval Time-varying Delay

        Shengtao Li,Yuanwei Jing,Xiaomei Liu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2012 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.10 No.4

The problem of delay-dependent stability analysis and controller design for a class of T-S fuzzy systems with interval state time-varying delay is considered. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, defining a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and introducing some free-weighting matrices, a new delay-dependent criterion is given to ensure the systems asymptotically stable. The merit of the pro-posed conditions lies in the less conservativeness than the existing ones, which is achieved by consid-ering the mean of time-delay interval and the introduction of the free variables. By the concept of par-allel distributed compensation (PDC), a delay-dependent condition for the existence of a fuzzy state feedback control law with memory is proposed. Another merit is the consideration of the memory of the controller. All conditions are shown in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved efficiently by using the LMI optimization techniques. Two numerical examples are given to il-lustrate the feasibility and validity of the proposed approach.

      • Automated Door Opening Scheme for Non-holonomic Mobile Manipulator

        Albertus Hendrawan Adiwahono,Chua Yuanwei,Tee Keng Peng,Liu Bingbing 제어로봇시스템학회 2013 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2013 No.10

This paper describes a scheme on automated door opening for a non-holonomic mobile manipulator. The perception is done with a fast 2D door plane scan and followed by a 3D door handle recognition. A driving planner is used to drive robot to the intended spot in front of the door with minimum off center error. Then, a simple yet effective downstroke motion of the arm is used to turn the handle. Finally, experiments is used to validate and evaluate the proposed scheme.

Enhancing the Adsorption Capacity of Hematite by Manganese Doping: Facile Synthesis and its Application in the Removal of Congo Red

        Huaifen Su,Xiaoxue Wang,Yuanwei Sun,Dan Xu,Lei Li,Caihua Liu,Suyuan Zeng,Dezhi Sun 대한화학회 2017 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.38 No.10

This work aims to provide a facile method for the preparation of Mn-doped hematite microrods and reveals the relationship between Mn doping and the enhanced adsorption properties. The adsorption performance of hematite could be greatly enhanced by Mn doping. The maximal adsorption capacity of the Mn-doped α-Fe2O3 is calculated to be 84.54 mg/g, which exhibits obviously enhanced adsorption capacity as compared to the un-doped α-Fe2O3 (33.02 mg/g). To further understand the adsorption process, the adsorption kinetic as well as thermodynamic behaviors are carefully investigated. The results suggest that the adsorption process of CR onto the adsorbents follows the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Meanwhile, the adsorption process can be designated to be a Langmuir process. The adsorption capacities of CR vary as a function of Mn contents, which are regarded as the synergistic effect between surface areas and pore sizes.

Optimization of a crossbar parallel machine tool based on workspace and dexterity

        Fang Xifeng,Zhang Sichong,Xu Qinhuan,Wang Tongyue,Liu Yuanwei,Chen Xiaogang 대한기계학회 2015 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.29 No.8

Increasing workspace and improving dexterity are important tasks for the design of parallel machine tools. The workspace of a crossbarparallel machine tool with constraints is obtained by using a 3D search method based on inverse kinematics. The new Jacobian matrixof the machine is also derived by using the natural coordinate method. Dexterity distribution of the machine tool is obtained on the basisof the workspace and the new Jacobian matrix. Influences of the structural parameters on the workspace volume index (WVI) and globaldexterity index (GDI) are analyzed. Structural optimization is conducted by treating the WVI and GDI as the global optimization goals. Unlike the initial data, the optimized results increased by 0.43 and 0.34 times.

Numerical analysis of the dynamic behavior of a rotor-bearing-brush seal system with bristle interference

Yuan Wei,Shulin Liu 대한기계학회 2019 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.33 No.8

To minimize leakage and maintain the efficiency of turbomachinery, brush seal can be installed with zero clearance or interference as the flexibility. This leads to contact between the rotor and bristle pack, and may cause self-excited vibration, even instability. In this study, to establishment a mathematical model of the rotor system, a seal force model with bristle interference is proposed and the nonlinear oilfilm force is applied in view of short bearing assumption. The influences of main factors containing rotor rotational speed, installing interval, disc mass, and disk eccentricity on the nonlinear characteristics of the rotor-bearing-brush seal system are conducted by adopting bifurcation diagram, spectrum cascade, axis orbit, and Poincaré map. The results indicate that the vibration amplitude of the system with bristle interference is a bit larger than that without interference. The system stability is enhanced with smaller disk mass at a higher rotational speed. The proposed model could provide valuable reference for the design of a rotor-bearing-seal system.
