In-memory file system with efficient swap support for mobile smart devices

<P>As the number of file I/O intensive mobile applications increase, in-memory file systems have gained attention. In-memory file systems provide a fast access to file data, but the main memory of the corresponding mobile devices often suffers due to its capacity limit. To provide mobile applications with more free space, the swap mechanism has been an essential technique for the overcoming of this space insufficiency; however, the existing swap mechanism is inadequate for the file I/O of mobile applications. In this study, a new in-memory file system is devised to improve the current swap mechanism in the legacy in-memory file system, whereby strip-based layouts with separated file-swap partitions are used and unnecessary file-I/O overheads are eliminated. To evaluate the proposed in-memory file system, experiments with the file-I/O benchmark were conducted. The experiment results show that, compared to the current swap scheme, the proposed swap scheme improves the overall performance by ten times on average(1).</P>

Since construction projects are large and complex, it is especially important to provide concurrent construction process to BIM models with construction automation. In particular, the schematic Quantity Take-Off (QTO) estimation on the BIM models is a strategy, which can be used to assist decision making in just minutes, because 70-80% of construction costs are determined by designers' decisions in the early design stage. This paper suggests a QTO process and a QTO prototype system within the building frame of Open BIM to improve the low reliability of estimation in the early design stage. The research consists of the following four steps: (1) analyzing Level of Detail (LOD) at the early design stage to apply to the QTO process and system, (2) BIM modeling for Open BIM based QTO, (3) checking the quality of the BIM model based on the checklist for applying to QTO and improving constructability, and (4) developing and verifying a QTO prototype system. The proposed QTO system is useful for improving the reliability of schematic estimation through decreasing risk factors and shortening time required.

In these days it is important to secure the life and stability of the structure such as aircrafts, automobiles and building. So the structural health monitoring is needed. In conventional lamb wave techniques, damage is identified by comparing the measured data (baseline signals) and the current data. But this method can lead to high false signal in the intact condition of the structure due to environmental conditions of the structure. As a solution to resolve it, the structural health monitoring method which doesn’t use baseline signals is necessary. Damaged structure has unusual elastic wave. This paper proposed a PC(pitch-catch) method which doesn't use baseline signal. New baseline signals can get from detection signal. Damage signals based on new baseline signals. This paper made an image includes damage information by applying damage-signals to beamformming. and accuracy of method is be improved by using wavelet transform.

이중대표소송(double derivative suit)은 특정회사가 다른 회사의 주식의 과반수 또는 거의 전부를 소유하는 지배종속관계에 있는 경우, 종속회사 이사의 부정행위에 의한 회사의 손해에 대하여, 지배회사의 주주가 종속회사의 이사에 대하여 책임을 추궁하여 제기하는 소송이다. 이중대표소송은 독립된 법인격을 부인하고, 종속회사의 주주의 권리를 침해하며, 주식동시보유요건의 결여 등을 이유로 부정하는 견해가 있으나, 모회사의 주주의 간접손해를 보전하고, 자회사의 부정을 억제하는 방안으로서 유용하므로, 이를 우리 상법에 도입하는 것이 타당하다. Double derivative suit is a suit by a shareholder of a subsidiary corporation’s parent to enforce a cause of action in favor of the subsidiary. The first theory in opposition to double derivative suit is that double derivative suit is unnecessary because alternative remedies exist. The second theory is that shareholders do not satisfy contemporaneous ownership requirements in double derivative suit. The Rationale to support double derivative suit is veil-piercing doctrine, common control theory, fiduciary duty theory, compensation and deterrence. Especially double derivative suit is to compensate to the parent’s shareholders and to prevent the wrongdoing of subsidiary corporation’s directors. The introduction of a double derivative suit by legislation is necessary. It needs to allow a double derivative suit if a parent corporation actually dominates its subordinate corporation as well as in case a parent corporation has over fifty percent shares of the subordinate corporation.
피난법규 적용을 위한 개방형BIM기반의 품질검토시스템 시범개발 연구

A Building Information Model (BIM) serves as a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming and a reliable basis for decision making during its life-cycle from inception onward. BIM technology accomplished quantitative development to be utilized in various disciplines. However, it is necessary to develop environment and requirement for qualitative improvement of BIM based project. Particularly, regulation information is an important factor for initial architectural design evaluations. Through BIM-based automated regulation check process, designer and owner can reduce errors, time and inefficient use of human resources. The purpose of this study is to develop an automated system that designer and owner can check the legality of BIM data in the process of BIM quality check. In this study, the scope of applied regulation information is confined to evacuation regulation. To achieve this purpose, the authors have investigated a case study of openBIM-based regulation system and presented scenario for development of evacuation regulation checking system. Finally, the authors developed SMC API based evacuation regulation checking system in this study.
