‘오타쿠 현상’과 전후 일본 사회의 변화 -오타쿠론과 내셔널리즘의 부상을 중심으로

‘오타쿠’는 미디어 문화 혹은 서브컬처를 매개로 규정된 주체로서, 이와 관련된 현상은 일본에서 유래하지만 현재 국내와 아시아 각국에서만이 아니라 글로벌한 범위에서 등장한 현상이 되어왔으며, 최근에는 보다 진지한 학술적 연구의 대상이 되고 있다. 오타쿠란 만화, 애니메이션, 게임, PC, SF, 특수촬영(특촬), 피규어, 그 밖에 서로 깊이 연관된 일군의 서브컬처에 탐닉하는 사람들의 총칭으로 정의된다. 일본에서 전후 오타쿠 현상에 대한 다양한 논의들이 있어왔는데 대표적 논자들의 입장으로는 1) 오타쿠 변호론/진화론, 2) 비판적 오타쿠론, 3) 정치사/사상사적 오타쿠론, 4) 포스트모던 오타쿠 분석/ 데이터베이스 소비론, 5) 오타쿠 섹슈얼리티의 정신분석, 6) 오타쿠 공간의 분석 등을 들 수 있다. 전후 오타쿠계 문화 혹은 서브컬처는 전후 일본인들의 ‘이중 망각’ 즉 전시 경험에 대한 망각과 망각 사실 자체에 대한 망각에 균열을 내고 은유적으로 상기시키는 기능을 해왔다. 전후 ‘이상의 시대’(1945-70년), ‘허구의 시대’(1970-95년), 그리고 특히 ‘불가능의 시대’(1995-현재)를 거치며, 이와 같은 오타쿠 서브컬처의 기능은 현재 은유에서 이탈해 보다 직접적으로 보수적인 내셔널리즘이라는 현실로 도피하는 측면이 강화되고 있다. Otaku are subjects whose definition has been made through media culture or subculture. Otaku-related phenomena originated from Japan, but the phenomena now have been regional and even global ones, becoming the subject of serious academic researches. Otaku are the name of people who are engaged in various hobby-related activites, and those hobbies include manga, anime, videogame, personal computer, sci-fi, SFX film, figure and so on. Until recently, there have been key researchers and theorists engaging in studies of otaku and otaku-related phenomena in Japan. Their views can be summarized as follows: 1) otaku-defending/evolutionary view, 2) critical otaku research, 3) intellectual-history approach, 4) postmodern view/database-consumption theory, 5) psycho-analysis of otaku sexuality, 6) otaku -space analysis. Post-WWII otaku subculture has functioned as a metaphorical reminder of history for Japanese people who have lived with ‘double forgetting’, which means forgetting not only wartime experiences, but also the fact that they have forgotten those experiences. Having functioned as such during the periods of ideal(1945-70), fiction(1970-95), and impossibility (1995-present) in postwar Japanese history, otaku subculture now seems to be going toward the terrain of reality of conservative nationalism with a less metaphorical face than before.

<P>Previously, we reported the potential of a novel Cdk inhibitor, 2-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl-N-[5-(1,1-dioxo-1λ6-isothiazolidin-2-yl)-1H-indazol-3-yl]acetamide (BAI) as a cancer chemotherapeutic agent. In this study, we investigated mechanisms by which BAI modulates FTI-mediated apoptosis in human renal carcinoma Caki cells. BAI synergizes with FTI to activate DEVDase, cleavage of poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP), and degradation of various anti-apoptotic proteins in Caki cells. BAI plus LB42708-induced apoptosis was inhibited by pretreatment with pan-caspase inhibitor, z-VAD-fmk, but not by overexpression of CrmA. The ROS scavenger, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) did not reduce BAI plus LB4270-induced apoptosis. Co-treatment of BAI and LB42708 reduced the mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP, ?ψm) in a time-dependent manner, and induced release of AIF and cytochrome?c from mitochondria in Caki cells. Furthermore, BAL plus LB42708 induced downregulation of anti-apoptotic proteins [c-FLIP?(L), c-FLIP?(s), Bcl-2, XIAP, and Mcl-1?(L)]. Especially, we found that BAI plus LB42708-induced apoptosis was significantly attenuated by overexpression of Bcl-2 and partially blocked by overexpression of c-FLIP?(L). Taken together, our results show that the activity of BAI plus LB42708 modulate multiple components in apoptotic response of human renal Caki cells, and indicate a potential as combinational therapeutic agents for preventing cancer such as renal carcinoma.</P>
Study of P2+P4 AWD HEV Architecture Exploration

As fuel efficiency regulation become stricter, car-makers all over the world have been accelerating the research of Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) or Electric Vehicle(EV). Many different types of HEV architectures have been studied and optimized so far and more complicated powertrains are considered. For the forward step of fully electrified vehicle, All-Wheel- Drive(AWD) HEVs are on the rise with various advantages. In this paper, we conducted the architecture study of AWD HEV equipped with TMED(Transmission Mounted Electric Device) P2 motor and P4 motor, considering component capacities and powertrain layout combinations. Longitudinal vehicle dynamics based backward simulation, Dynamic Programming, was utilized for analysis over the selected driving cycles. Depending on the variables’ combinations, different torque distribution tendency was observed. The most appropriate device capacity and powertrain layout architecture were analyzed through further comparison of efficiency and weight of components.

In an effort to cope with recent high oil price and global warming, developments of air lubricated ships have been pursued to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to save fuel costs by reducing the frictional resistance. In this study, reduction in the frictional resistance by air lubrication with air layers generated on the lower surface of a flat plate was investigated experimentally in the large water tunnel of SSMB. The generated air layers were observed, and changes in the local frictional drag were measured at various flow rates of injected air. The results indicated that air lubrication with air layers might be useful in reducing the frictional resistance at specific conditions of air injection. Accordingly, resistance and self-propulsion tests for a 66K DWT bulk carrier were carried out in the towing tank of SSMB to estimate the expected net power savings.
Durable Press Finish of Cotton via Dual Curing Using UV Light and Heat

Continuous photografting/crosslinking of polyethyleneglycol dimethacrylate oligomers onto cotton using a water-soluble benzophenone photoinitiator was investigated. Photografting increased with increasing irradiation dose, oligomer concentration and photoinitiator concentration. Maximum grafting efficiency of DM 400 and 600 were 83% and 79%, respectively. the photografting increased the wrinkle resistance of cotton implying surface crosslinking of cotton. bothsurface crosslinking and bulk crosslinking of cotton were accomplished via dual curing of a mixed formulation containing both a thermally curable component (BTCCA/SHP) and a UV-curable component. The wrinkle resistance of the crosslinked cotton was found to be higher when cured by thermal curing due to the facile post-polymerization of the UV active component. The presence of crosslinks in the dually crosslinked cotton was verified with FT-IR and thermogravimetric analysis.

본 논문에서는 여러 개체가 모여서 하나의 무리를 이루면서 살아가는 새의 집단 행동을 에니메이션하기 위한 모델을 제시한다. 이 모델에서는 욕구, 관성 및 기울어짐을 이용하여 새 내부의 특성을 고려하여 객체의 움직임을 모형화 하였고 객체간의 충돌 방지를 위한 효율적인 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 새들이 날아갈 때 날개를 펄럭이는 동작을 시스템에 추가하여 좀 더 실감나는 에니메이션을 가능하게 하였다.

최근 몇 년간 의학 분야에서는 인체의 해부학적 구조를 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술을 통해 컴퓨터로 재구성하려는 시도에 많은 관심이 쏟아졌다. 이러한 관심은 치과 치료분야 에서도 이루어져 왔는데, 컴퓨터 그래픽스를 이용한 치과 치료에도 많은 응용 분야가 있다. 자료를 측정한다거나, 시각적으로 3차원의 영상을 보여준다거나, CAD-CAM 기술을 이용하여 의치의 틀이나 금형등을 제작할 수 도 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 다양한 응용에 기반 기술이 될 수 있는 치아의 기하학적 특성을 정의 하고, 이것을 찾기 위한 여러 가지 방법을 실험해보고, 더 낳은 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
