Output stability control method for electric vehicle DWPT systems based on interleaved three‑level buck converters

        Lianbin Cheng,Jinhai Jiang,Jianing Xu,Zelun Wang,Guo Wei,Chunbo Zhu 전력전자학회 2023 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.23 No.11

With the development of wireless power transfer (WPT), dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) has become a key technology for solving the low driving range of electric vehicles. This study aims to alleviate the output fluctuation of the power supply rail of a bipolar transmitter during DWPT, and to meet the wide output voltage range requirement at the receiving end. Specifically, a cascaded interleaved three-level buck converter is developed as a power topology at the receiving end to effectively reduce the electrical stress of the switching device. In addition, a control method that combines active disturbance rejection control and a disturbance observer is proposed to suppress the output fluctuation of the coupling coil at the receiving end and to improve the dynamic response speed, which effectively enhances the output stability of the DWPT system. In this paper, a 30 kW DWPT experimental platform is established to verify the superiority of the cascaded three-level buck converter and the effectiveness of the proposed control method. The proposed control method has a 40% higher fluctuation suppression capability when compared with the traditional control method.

Ubiquitin D Promotes Progression of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma via NF-Kappa B Signaling

        Song, An,Wang, Yi,Jiang, Feng,Yan, Enshi,Zhou, Junbo,Ye, Jinhai,Zhang, Hongchuang,Ding, Xu,Li, Gang,Wu, Yunong,Zheng, Yang,Song, Xiaomeng Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology 2021 Molecules and cells Vol.44 No.7

Ubiquitin D (UBD) is highly upregulated in many cancers, and plays a pivotal role in the pathophysiological processes of cancers. However, its roles and underlying mechanisms in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) are still unclear. In the present study, we investigated the role of UBD in patients with OSCC. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blot were used to measure the expression of UBD in OSCC tissues. Immunohistochemistry assay was used to detect the differential expressions of UBD in 244 OSCC patients and 32 cases of normal oral mucosae. In addition, CCK-8, colony formation, wound healing and Transwell assays were performed to evaluate the effect of UBD on the cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in OSCC. Furthermore, a xenograft tumor model was established to verify the role of UBD on tumor formation in vivo. We found that UBD was upregulated in human OSCC tissues and cell lines and was associated with clinical and pathological features of patients. Moreover, the overexpression of UBD promoted the proliferation, migration and invasion of OSCC cells; however, the knockdown of UBD exerted the opposite effects. In this study, our results also suggested that UBD promoted OSCC progression through NF-κB signaling. Our findings indicated that UBD played a critical role in OSCC and may serve as a prognostic biomarker and potential therapeutic target for OSCC treatment.

Effect on tower crane structural vibration under the lifting-luffing coupling condition

        Fu Liu,Jianwei Yang,Jinhai Wang,Changdong Liu,Xiaohui Wang 대한기계학회 2023 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.37 No.10

The present research aims to investigate parametrically the structural vibration analysis of tower crane under the lifting-luffing coupling condition. Structural vibration greatly affects tower crane stability. The structural dynamics of a crane should be considered for studying motion behavior and vibration feature. The dynamic model of the tower crane is presented based on air resistance, boom deflection, and Lagrange equation under the lifting-luffing coupling condition. The vibration model of the tower crane was validated by an experiment. The experiment was conducted with an accelerating speed until reaching the constant speed and then with decelerating speed. This study analyses structural parameters to acquire the dynamic characteristics and vibration features of the tower crane under the compound working condition. The vibration responses of the mast and the boom are studied with frequency- and timedomain indicators. Results show that payload mass, luffing acceleration, boom length, mast height, and girder length significantly influence the mast vibration. In comparison, payload mass, trolley acceleration, and boom length affect the boom vibration. This research can improve the design of a dynamic system for tower crane safety.

The research of sleep staging based on single-lead electrocardiogram and deep neural network

        Ran Wei,Xinghua Zhang,Jinhai Wang,Xin Dang 대한의용생체공학회 2018 Biomedical Engineering Letters (BMEL) Vol.8 No.1

The polysomnogram (PSG) analysis is consideredthe golden standard for sleep staging under the clinicalenvironment. The electroencephalogram (EEG) signal isthe most important signal for classification of sleep stages. However, in-vivo signal recording and analysis of EEGsignal presents us with a few technical challenges. Electrocardiogramsignals on the other hand, are easier torecord, and can provide an attractive alternative for homesleep monitoring. In this paper we describe a method basedon deep neural network (DNN), which can be used for theclassification of the sleep stages into Wake (W), rapid-eyemovement(REM) and non-rapid-eye-movement (NREM)sleep stage. We apply the sleep stage stacked autoencoderto constitute a 4-layer DNN model. In order to test theaccuracy of our method, eighteen PSGs from the MIT-BIHPolysomnographic Database were used. A total of 11 featureswere extracted from each electrocardiogram recordingThe experimental design employs cross-validationacross subjects, ensuring the independence of the trainingand the test data. We obtained an accuracy of 77% and aCohen’s kappa coefficient of about 0.56 for the classificationof Wake, REM and NREM.

Laparoscopic surgery contributes to a decrease in short-term complications in surgical ulcerative colitis patients during 2008–2017: a multicenter retrospective study in China

        Zerong Cai,Xiaosheng He,Jianfeng Gong,Peng Du,Wenjian Meng,Wei Zhou,Jinbo Jiang,Bin Wu,Weitang Yuan,Qi Xue,Lianwen Yuan,Jinhai Wang,Jiandong Tai,Jie Liang,Weiming Zhu,Ping Lan,Xiaojian Wu 대한장연구학회 2023 Intestinal Research Vol.21 No.2

Background/Aims: The aim of this study was to analyze the chronological changes in postoperative complications in surgical ulcerative colitis patients over the past decade in China and to investigate the potential parameters that contributed to the changes. Methods: Ulcerative colitis patients who underwent surgery during 2008–2017 were retrospectively enrolled from 13 hospitals in China. Postoperative complications were compared among different operation years. Risk factors for complications were identified by logistic regression analysis. Results: A total of 446 surgical ulcerative colitis patients were analyzed. Fewer short-term complications (24.8% vs. 41.0%, P=0.001) and more laparoscopic surgeries (66.4% vs. 25.0%, P<0.001) were found among patients who received surgery during 2014–2017 than 2008–2013. Logistic regression suggested that independent protective factors against short-term complications were a higher preoperative body mass index (odds ratio [OR], 0.870; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.785–0.964; P=0.008), laparoscopic surgery (OR, 0.391; 95% CI, 0.217–0.705; P=0.002) and elective surgery (OR, 0.213; 95% CI, 0.067–0.675; P=0.009). The chronological decrease in short-term complications was associated with an increase in laparoscopic surgery. Conclusions: Our data revealed a downward trend of short-term postoperative complications among surgical ulcerative colitis patients in China during the past decade, which may be due to the promotion of minimally invasive techniques among Chinese surgeons.
