Photoionization in the presence of circularly polarized fundamental and odd-order harmonic fields
Ivanov, I. A.,Nam, Chang Hee,Kim, Kyung Taec American Physical Society 2017 Physical Review A Vol.95 No.5

We present a study of the photoelectron spectra for the ionization process driven by counterrotating and corotating circularly polarized fundamental and odd-order harmonic fields. The main features of the spectra, such as symmetric lobed structures, are understood using simple arguments based on the strong field approximation (SFA) picture of ionization. A deviation from this picture is, most notably, the presence of the low-energy structures (LES) in the spectra. We show that the Rydberg states populated as a result of the combined absorption of the photons from the fundamental and harmonic fields are responsible for the origin of LES.

Slit Holomorphic Stochastic Flows and Gaussian Free Field
Ivanov, Georgy,Kang, Nam-Gyu,Vasil’ev, Alexander Springer-Verlag 2016 Complex analysis and operator theory Vol.10 No.7

It was realized recently that the chordal, radial and dipolar Schramm-Lowner evolution (SLEs) are special cases of a general slit holomorphic stochastic flow. We characterize those slit holomorphic stochastic flows which generate level lines of the Gaussian free field. In particular, we describe the modifications of the Gaussian free field (GFF) corresponding to the chordal and dipolar SLE with drifts. Finally, we develop a version of conformal field theory based on the background charge and Dirichlet boundary condition modifications of GFF and present martingale-observables for these types of SLEs.

PROSPECTS FOR RUSSIA'S ENERGY DIPLOMACY IN NORTHEAST ASIA
Ivanov, Vladimir I. The Institute of East and West Studies 1999 Global economic review Vol.28 No.2
Northeast Asia's heavy dependence upon net energy imports has caused several economic and environmental complications for the countries of the region. In an attempt to counter these problems and overcome the vulnerability of the energy supply and demand, countries such as China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea have been directing their attention to the energy resources of eastern Russia. However, prior to any formal implementation of Russian energy resource utilization, these countries must consider the issue in a joint, multilateral manner, ensure energy security in the region, protect the environment, and, lastly, establish viable and sincere political relations with the United States.
Angle-dependent time delay in two-color XUV+IR photoemission of He and Ne
Ivanov, I. A.,Kheifets, A. S. American Physical Society 2017 Physical Review A Vol.96 No.1

We solve the time-dependent Schrodinger equation for a noble gas atom (He and Ne) driven by an ionizing XUVand dressing IR fields. From this solution we deduce an angular dependence of the photoemission time delay as measured by the RABBITT (reconstruction of attosecond beating by interference of two-photon transitions) technique. We use a recent angle-resolved RABBITT measurement on helium [S. Heuser et al., Phys. Rev. A 94, 063409 (2016)] to test and calibrate our theoretical model. Based on this calibration, we find no significant difference between the time delay in He measured in the angle-integrated RABBITT experiments [C. Palatchi et al., J. Phys. B 47, 245003 (2014) and D. Guenot et al., ibid. 47, 245602 (2014)] and measured or calculated in the polarization axis direction. The angular dependence of the photoemission time delay of Ne is shown to be qualitatively different from He because of the different orbital character of the valence 2p orbital. The angular momentum projection dependence of the time delay in Ne is also investigated.

Polyacrylamide gels and cryogels were prepared by the crosslinking reaction of polyacrylamide (a polymeric precursor) with glutaric aldehyde (a crosslinking agent) in liquid and moderately frozen aqueous media, respectively. Polymeric precursors of different viscosity- averagemolecular weights (0.3, 1, 3, and 9 MDa) were used. The molecular weight of the precursors, as well as the reaction temperature and concentration of the crosslinking agent, exerted a pronounced influence on the efficiency of gelation (gel fraction yield) and on the properties (swelling capability) and structural peculiarities of the resulting gels (reference samples) and cryogels. The highest efficacy was inherent in the cryotropic gelation process when the polymeric precursor had a molecular weight of about 3 MDa, whereas the implementation of polyacrylamides of lower (0.3 or 1 MDa) or higher (9 MDa) molecular weights diminished the gel formation efficiency. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Ivanov, Stanislav,Umbrello, Steven Smart Tourism Research Center 2021 Journal of smart tourism Vol.1 No.4
The impacts that AI and robotics systems can and will have on our everyday lives are already making themselves manifest. However, there is a lack of research on the ethical impacts and means for amelioration regarding AI and robotics within tourism and hospitality. Given the importance of designing technologies that cross national boundaries, and given that the tourism and hospitality industry is fundamentally predicated on multicultural interactions, this is an area of research and application that requires particular attention. Specifically, tourism and hospitality have a range of context-unique stakeholders that need to be accounted for in the salient design of AI systems is to be achieved. This paper adopts a stakeholder approach to develop the conceptual framework to centralize human values in designing and deploying AI and robotics systems in tourism and hospitality. The conceptual framework includes several layers - 'Human-human-AI' interaction level, direct and indirect stakeholders, and the macroenvironment. The ethical issues on each layer are outlined as well as some possible solutions to them. Additionally, the paper develops a research agenda on the topic.

This article considers the try of theoretical comprehension of general principles of target evaluative-effective block of of K. Kinchev’s cognitive-pragmatic programs (CPP) in terms of the author’s linguoculturological theory of CPP modeling within the Framework of “Heroic” Epoch of Russian Rock Music. The CPP that consists of three basic subsystems of cognitive-pragmatic sets (CPS) (target, self-identification, instrumental) and evaluative-effective (secondary synthesized) subsystem is considered as a specific, dynamic and transforming cognitive-mental structure that accumulates the personality consciousness work (subject-source – subject-interpreter), where the most important components of cognitive (the system of genetic codes), the conceptual national-specific (system of culture codes) and the linguistic (the system of sign units of different types) of the world are reflected in a highly concise conceptual form and in a special way. K. Kinchev’s CPP is built on a special model. Not a separate basic subsystem of the target installations but a special instrumental-target complex is formed on the basis of the general abstract goal. At the heart of his modeling lies the dialectical duality of the rock poet’s consciousness, based on the unity and struggle of the positive (the target component of the CPS) and the negative (instrumental component of the CPS) beginnings. It is important that the destructive energy of the revolutionary operational-instrumental strategy, based on the principles of total rebellion and destruction, gradually neutralizes (blocks) the positive content of the target component. This naturally leads to a change in its conceptual status from constructive to destructive. As a result, an evaluative-effective instrumental-target CPS complex begins to form in the space of Kinchev’s CPP, within the framework of which the subject-source comes to the self-analyzed conclusion that none of the goals set has been realized. All this leads to a deep spiritual and creative crisis and the realization that the “heroic” version of the CPP has run out of steam and requires a serious modernization of all the basic subsystems.

The article examines the stage of verification of a crime report from the standpoint of the need for its legislative regulation. Moreover, it investigates the international experience in this field. The existing procedural models are described in detail on the example of the neighboring and faraway countries. An analysis of the provisions of the current criminal procedure law of Russia and foreign experience allowed the authors to identify existing problems in the implementation of departmental control and prosecutorial supervision at the stage of verifying a crime report. The aim of the study is to develop theoretical provisions and recommendations regarding the implementation of departmental procedural control and prosecutorial supervision over the activities of the investigator during the verification of reports of crimes, based on the study of experience, both in Russia and in a number of countries of the near and far abroad, which could find their reflection in law enforcement practice, as well as aimed at improving the current criminal procedure legislation. The authors substantiated the theory that a detailed examination of the foreign procedural foundations of checking a crime report will allow us to form the most suitable model for checking a crime report for our state, taking into account all possible features and successfully implement it into the current criminal procedural law of the Russian Federation.
