In this paper, in order to provide traffic safety and convenience services to users (drivers and pedestrians), we propose a distributed processing method for sharing users’ locations and traffic events collected by users’ smart devices in realtime system. Users’ locations and collected traffic events are transmitted to a server, and the server classifies similar events into multiple groups. We propose location data indexing and continuous query processing methods. Similar traffic events can be quickly classified by using the proposed indexing method. Through experiments, we test the classification of similar events to show the proposed method work properly. Also, we measure the accuracy of the proposed continuous query processing method to show whether the traffic events can be shared among users in real time.

This paper describes an alternative method for grid expansion planning considering construction cost, probabilistic production cost, congestion cost and outage cost of a grid at a composite power system derived from a simulation model. In this paper, a heuristic scenario method choosing a least cost solution(scenario) among various scenario combined from candidate new lines is used for deciding the best solution. The characteristics and effectiveness of this simulation model are illustrated by the several case studies of a test system.
