        The obejective of this experimental study in fixed bed model is to provide effective data that find out maxium velocity from the mean velocity and water surface level with the radius of curvature in curved channel, for the purpose of improvement stream with theoretical formula. The flow in meandering channel has a great dangerous problum on curved bank revetment in river morphology at saturated season. In order to study for the solusion of these problems, compared with the result of hydraulic experiment and numerical analysis. RMA-2 program is more accurate than HEC-2 for an analysis of the stream in curved channel. Cofficient of streaming skewness is fond out 1.5 aduptable to calculate maximum velocity within one-third from centre line of top wide water surface.

      • 설계강우량과 설계강우강도 결정을 위한 수문해석기법

        This paper presents a hydrologic analysis procedure for determining the design rainfall and rainfall intensity in the Asan National industrial district. The rainfall data is a basic component for selecting the probability flood to design hydraulic structures. Thus it is very important to select an appropriate probability distribution for rainfall data. In this study Log-normal, Gumble, Log-Pearson TypeⅢ and IWIA distribution are estimated for rainfall data of 27 years with four different duration based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test at Suwon station. As results, the rainfall data is fitted t the IWIA distribution and the design rainfall intensities are estimated by the linear regression method based on the design rainfall depth produced by IWIA.

      • 강우강도식의 결정을 위한 회기모형

        강우량은 미계측유역에서 배수구조물을 설계하기 위한 확률홍수량 결정에 기본적인 수문량이다. 본 연구는 인천지방에서 8개 확률분포형을 적용하여 11개 강우지속기간별 확률강우량을 추정하였고, 적합한 확률강우강도식을 유도하였다. Kolmogorov - Smirov법과 Chi-square법을 통하여 최적 분포형을 추정하고 재현기간별 확률강우량을 결정한 후, ⅰ) 최소자승법(least squares, LS), ⅱ) 최소 중간치자승법(least median squares, LMS), ⅲ) 재가중최소자승법(reweighted least squares, RLS) 및 ⅳ) 2개 선형제약회기모형(constrained regression, CR)을 이용하여 인천지방 확률강우강도식을 결정하였다. 강우강도식은 Talbot형, Sherman형, Japanese형, 통합-l(Unified-1)형 및 통합-2(Unified-2)형으로 유도하였으며 결정된 강우강도식을 평가하기 위하여 평균제곱근오차를 계산하였다. 강우강도 형식으로는 통합-1과 통합-2형이 가장 적합한 공식이었으며 공학적인 견지에서 볼 때 계수결적을 위한 본 연구에서의 5개 모형은 모두 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

      • 안성천 수위관측소 지점의 갈수량 빈도 해석

        This paper presents the applicability of transformation method for estimating the 7-days low flows for return periods at An-sung stream. Since low flows of a stream very randomly and the durations of low flows are critical, analysis of low flows should consider both the magnitude and duration. Four stations with continuous streamflow records exceeding 20 years were selected. Power and SMEMAX transformation are adopted to transform the sample to a near normal distribution. The results show that Power transformation is the superior ability to SMEMAX transformation.

      • 용담 수위관측소지점의 갈수량 분석

        The Power transformation, the modified Power transformation, the logarithmic transformation, the square-root logarithmic transformation, the SMEMAX transformation, the Extreme value type Ⅲ, the Weibull, the log-Pearson type Ⅲ, the lognormal distribution, and he log-Boughton based on plotting position are considered to estimate 7-day, 10-day, 20-day, and 30-day low flows for return periods at the Yongdam sage station. The method of moment and the maximum likelihood procedure are adopted to calculate the parameters of the Extreme value type Ⅲ, the Weibull and the log-Pearson type Ⅲ distribution, and the Kolmogorov - Smirnov (K-S) test is performed to test the goodness of fit for each distribution. The main advantage of the transformation methods is to transform a given sample data in a such manner that the transformed sample is a near normal distribution. The fitting procedure for the Extreme value type Ⅲ performed poorly. The maximum likelihood procedure only produced results in 7-day flow series. The two parameters in the Weibull distribution are not sufficient to adequately describe the shape. The log-Pearson type Ⅲ performs relatively well in most cases. It is found that the Power, the modified Power, the logarithmic, the square-root logarithmic, the log-Boughton distribution consistently provide a good fit to low flows for the Yongdam station.

      • 소유역에서 홍수조절용 펌프 및 유수지 규모의 결정

        A hydrological method has been performed to determine the capacity of pump and detention pond in small-sized urban basin for flood management. The critical duration of design rainfall and the effective storage ratio have been conventionally used to determine the size of pumps and ponds. The 11 pump-pond facilities in Dongdu-chun have been selected to analyze the critical duration for design rainfall and the storage ratio for ponds in this study. It has been then shown that the criteria of the maximum storage ratio is not reasonable for determining the detention pond. Thus, size of the detention pond should be selected by simulating the operation of pump and pond with the design flow hydrograph. The costs of pump and the pond should be also considered to determine the size of the pump and the pond.

      • 통복천에서의 하천유사 측정 및 분석

        The empirical expressions about the sediment of the Tongbok stream have been suggested based on field measurement. In this research, we computed the total sediment through 10 sediment formulas which have been used in the GUIDE Ver 2.0 and MODEIN(Modified Einstein Method by Colby and Hembree, USGS). The quantity of sediment load in the Tongbok stream has also been estimated. The total sediment load by the proposed sediment formula in the Tongbok stream may be practical to use stream rectification and maintenance project.

      • An Analysis of Grid Size and Contour Interval Sensitivivy

        지형 분석법(TAM)은 유역내에서 점축류와 점확류의 영향 평가에 아주 유리하며, 수리 구조물의 계획설계와 토양 침식의 모형 개발에 아주 유용함에도 불구하고 연산의 단순성으로 발전에 한계를 느끼게 된다. 격자의 크기와 등고선 간격의 민감도 구성 요소에 대한 연구는 복잡한 지형특성을 나타내는데에 있어, 지형 분석법과 함께 수치 고도 모형(DMA)의 선택 결정에 중요성을 갖는다. 이들 선택 결정에 기초 자료를 마련하기 위하여, Montana주의 Cotton Wood Greek 유역을 선정하고 축척 1:24,000의 USGS 지형도에서 등고선 간격 20, 40, 60 ft와 격자 크기 50*50, 100*100, 300*300 ft 로 구분하여 경사도 상경사도 최대유로연장에 대한 TAMS TAPES-G와 TAPES-C를 적용 분석으로 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 본 연구에서는 격자의 크기가 등고선 간격의 범위를 초과하기 때문에 경사도는 민감성이 없었다. 2. 유로장의 격자의 크기가 등고선 간격의 범위를 초과하기 때문에 경사도는 민감성이 없었다. 3. 상경사면은 요소의 크기에 민감성이 높으나 TAM형에 따라 다르다. 4. 격자의 크기가 작을수록 지형적 특성을 다양하게 잘 나타낼 수 있다. 5. 요소 관련 사항 측정은 수문 분석에 중요성을 갖는 계수적 지형분석기법에 한계를 나타낸다. 6. TAM의 적용선택은 많은 요소에 의존하므로 결정이 어렵다.

      • Optimal Design of Irrigation Pipe Network with Multiple Sources

        Abstract This paper presents a heuristic method for optimal design of water distribution system with multiple sources and potential links. In multiple source pipe network, supply rate at each source node affects the total cost of the system because supply rates are not uniquely determined. The Linear Minimum Cost Flow (LMCF) model may be used to a large scale pipe network with multiple sources to determine supply rate at each source node. In this study the heuristic method based on the LMCF is suggested to determine supply rate at each source node and then to optimize the given layout. The heuristic method in turn perturbs links in the longest path of the network to obtain the supply rates which make the optimal design of the pipe network. Once the best tree network is obtained, the frequency count of reconnecting links by considering link failure is in turn applied to form loop to enhance the reliability of the best tree network. A sample pipe network is employed to test the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method can yield a lower cost design than the LMCF alone and that the proposed method can be efficiently used to design irrigation systems or rural water distribution systems.

      • 電氣抵抗 이론에 의한 透水係數推定에 關한 硏究

        It is important to determine the permeability of soils in every branches of earth structures. But there are many difficulties because of soil parameter have many complex element. In these studies, Permeability and capillary characteristics of soil based on result of electric resistance and permeability tests were discussed. Experimental results are as follows. 1. Permeability, electric resistance and resistivity under the same compaction energy are effected greatly at the average grain size 0.3-0.5mm. 2. As permeability and electric resistance are theoritically similiar, the permeability can be derived from the electric resistance. Those relationships are as follows; kr> 1.47 ; log k = 2.07 kr - 4.53 kr< 1.47 ; log k = 0.29 kr - 1.55
